Kirstie Alley has definately been looking smaller every week on DWTS, but so far she’s keeping her mouth closed about exactly how much she’s lost. She did say it was “fun” to have to take so many inches out of her costume for the finale though.

“I wasn’t so hungry when I was dancing,” Alley told People. “That coupled with insane amounts of dancing, I’m sure I lost it faster… I had the energy the whole way through it and that was sort of astonishing.”

We can only hope Alley can find the strength to keep up with being healthier once the pressure of DWTS is off. So far she hasn’t had the greatest track record, but maybe she’ll decide to keep dancing the pounds off for good!

Kirstie Alley faces off against football star Hines Ward and actress Chelsea Kane for the Dancing with the Stars title tonight on ABC. Based on the final performances and the rest of the season, we don’t really think she’s going to come out on top — but you never know until the fat lady… well, we just won’t be finishing that sentence…

Maksim suffered a charley horse early on in the routine, and the pain in his leg caused him to collapse, taking Kirstie down with him.  The two did manage to recover, though, and after getting decent marks from the judges, Kirstie tweeted that she was honored to be Maksim’s partner, calling him a “gladiator” and a “champion.”  Well, we’ll see if he’s got enough gladiator in him to propel them to DWTS champions.

Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani: We can’t help but wonder if Audrina might turn out to be the Kate Gosselin of this season of DWTS. Oh the horror!

Brandy & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: We love Maxim and we’ve got the feeling Brandy can shake it. So we’re very interested to see how this pairing is going to pan out.

David Hasselhoff & Kym Johnson: Kym, we’re sorry. Just, yeah, we’re sorry.

Florence Henderson & Corky Ballas: This is the Buzz Aldrin pairing for this year. You know Florence is probably not going to be the hottest dancer, but she’ll get the “awwwhhh isn’t the old person cute” votes.

Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough: You know we love this one! Bring on the Dirty Dancing Baby!

Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya: Athletes often do well on DWTS, especially when paired with Anna, so this could be a good match.

Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer: They’re young, cute and probably going to be darlings of the crowd.

Margaret Cho & Louis Van Amstel: We like the funny girls on DWTS, but we seriously doubt Cho’s ability to dance around anything but words.

Michael Bolton & Chelsie Hightower: We think Bolton has a deal with devil to continue looking like he does as his age. Maybe his deal includes dancing, we’ll have to wait and see.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino & Karina Smirnoff: They’ve got the sex appeal (if you like that greasy, smarmy thing he has going), so they could be a hot couple on the dance floor. Or, if his attitude wins out, a complete wreck.

Rick Fox & Cheryl Burke: Interesting pairing, athletic and sexy. This could turn out to be a strong couple to watch.

Dancing With the Stars season 11 premieres Monday, September 20 on ABC.

That’s right; it looks like Bristol Palin may be desperately clinging to her 15 minutes of fame on the new season of Dancing With the Stars. This is almost as bad a casting decision, in our opinion, as signing on Kate Gosselin last time around. Although, frankly, it’s difficult to believe anyone could suck as badly as Gosselin did.

Along with David Hasselhoff, The Situation and Bristol Pain, other rumored Dancing With the Stars cast members include Audrina Patridge and Brandy. While Kirstie Alley was also rumored to be signed on for the next season, E! Online says that bit of gossip is not true. As for ABC, a rep says the network does not comment on casting rumors.

The official Dancing With the Stars cast will be announced Monday, Aug. 30 on ABC during Bachelor Pad.

On Tuesday, Elisabeth Hasselbeck made light of the Erin Andrews peephole video stalker incident by joking that the guy should have just “waited 12 weeks” to see the ESPN sportscaster in her skimpy outfits on Dancing With the Stars.  Michael David Barrett, who leaked nude video of Erin Andrews shot through hotel door peepholes onto the Net, was convicted in March of interstate stalking and sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison.

“In light of what happened… and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room… I mean, in some way if I’m him,” Hasselbeck said Tuesday on The View, “I [would be] like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’”

Erin Andrews told Access Hollywood the comments by Hasselbeck left her in tears. Andrews’ DWTS partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, called Hasselbeck “stupid” and “jealous” for making such nasty remarks.

On Wednesday, Hasselbeck got teary-eyed while she related having to tell her daughter she had “hurt someone’s feelings” with her words. Hasselbeck said she called Erin Andrews to apologize for being a royal bitch. Okay, the royal bitch part is our words – sorry if it hurts your feelings Elisabeth.

Buzz Aldrin & Ashly Costa on 'Dancing With the Stars' (ABC)

Unfortunately, we’re not surprised Kate Gosselin stuck around another week even though we think she is by far the worst dancer on the show. Yes, even worse than Buzz Aldrin. At least Aldrin had class. This week Kate Gosselin looked like some kind of Marilyn Manson street-walker and danced walked around the stage like a drugged out wax figure. (We’re still dying over the “super bitch from hell” comment from Bruno Tonioli.) Still, the people love drama and Gosselin is full of it, so we’ll be forced to endure her yet again next week.

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka joined Buzz Aldrin and Kate Gosselin in the bottom three this week on DWTS. We aren’t quite sure he deserved to be placed so lowly. Pavelka isn’t the next Baryshnikov, but we don’t think he was really all that bad. We are a bit bummed about Buzz leaving, but we think he was pretty aware he wouldn’t last very long in the competition.

We’re still rooting for Evan Lysacek to pull off the win this season, but the competition is getting rather heated for the Olympic gold medalist. Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is tearing it up and ESPN analyst Erin Andrews isn’t half bad herself.

Now, let’s just work on getting Kate Gosselin off the show next week and back to taking care of her kids where she belongs. Then we can finally watch the show without cringing every time her face comes on screen.

Least Likely to Win: Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa

There is virtually no chance this duo can win. The former astronaut is no spring chicken and he’s not going to be able to pull off the moves some of the other contestants will do with ease. Plus, it’s just kind of weird to watch a guy this old jiggle his butt. We’re predicting a high chance for a medical out with Aldrin, considering how often accidents and injuries happen on this show.

Most Likely to Win: Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskya

Evan Lysacek has already proven he can dance on ice skates like a friggin’ ballerina on steroids. We’re sure that’s going to translate into some spectacular moves on his own two feet. High probability Lysacek will be doing some killer lift moves with his partner, which we can’t wait to watch.

Most Likely to Have a Wardrobe Malfunction: Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitehood

We’re sorry to say it, but those boobs have got to make it difficult to bounce around on the dance floor without losing your top. Plus, they probably get in the way when you’re trying to do some kind of crazy lift move and we can hear the fabric ripping in our heads already. Really though, we just feel it in our bones there will be a viral video from DWTS of Pamela Anderson exposing something she shouldn’t. Whee!

Most Likely to Fall on Their Ass: Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani

We’re predicting a spill for this dancing couple because Kate Gosselin constantly moves like a wooden puppet wound too tightly – and that’s just when she’s grocery shopping! Plus, it’s obvious the girl has major control issues and she’s not going to relax when she’s being flung around the floor by her partner. She’ll grab when she should let go or try to push Dovolani around and down she’ll go. Well, that’s our gut feeling anyway, Gosselin may just prove us wrong, but we kind of hope not…

We’ll be tuning in to Dancing With the Stars Monday night to see how it goes, but regardless of whether we’re right or wrong on our predictions, we’re sure it will be a fun-filled, drama-packed season of DTWS once again!

The season 10 cast of Dancing With the Stars was announced Monday night during the finale of The Bachelor. As usual, the DWTS season 10 cast is a mixture of cool, weird and just plain WTF were they thinking?

In addition to reality TV mom Kate Gosselin, the season 10 DWTS cast also includes Shannen Doherty of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame – another woman we could happily let fade into obscurity and never have to hear from again. Well known for her ball-busting ways, we look forward to SOME kind of drama emerging from this one’s dressing room.

The obligatory sports-themed contestants this season include football player Chad Ochocinco and Olympic gold medal figure skater Evan Lysachek. We’re already calling Lysachek as our favorite. I mean seriously, if this guy can dance like that on skates, what can he do with both feet actually on the floor?

Embarrassed ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews will also be tying on her dancing shoes. Let’s just hope they can keep the stalkers from video-taping her backstage changing into those ridiculous costumes. Poor Andrews certainly doesn’t need any more nude videos floating around.

Dancing With the Stars Season 10 Cast

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka is apparently already bored enough with his chosen bride-to-be Vienna that he’s decided to sign on for another reality show run to escape her clutches. Personally, we think he’ll probably get booted pretty fast. Seriously, he’s about as interesting as dry toast.

Pamela Anderson will be taking the slot of aging sex symbol in this season’s cast. Mostly we’re just curious if she’ll be able to keep her massive assets contained in those skimpy outfits while bouncing around attempting not to fall on her ass.

Taking the weirdness prize this season is 80-year-old astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Like with previous contestant Tom Delay, we’ll be biting our nails hoping Aldrin doesn’t just collapse in the middle of a dance and have to be rushed off to the ER.

Reno 911‘s Niecy Nash, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and soap opera player Aiden Turner round out the rest of the DTWS season 10 cast.

“I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show,” Samantha Harris said of her time on Dancing with the Stars. Harris, who co-hosts the show with Tom Bergeron, is reportedly leaving the show to focus on other aspects of her career, including her correspondent gig on The Insider.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha since she joined the DWTS team in Season 2,” executive producer Conrad Green told Access Hollywood. “She will be much missed, but always part of the DWTS family.”

Host Tom Bergeron said he would love to see Samantha Harris return to the show in a different capacity. “I’m hoping this frees her up for us to have her as a contestant,” he told People.

As for who will replace Harris, speculation is already running rampant. Could this possibly be the perfect time for Paula Abdul to finally snag that offer from ABC to sign on to DWTS? Well, while we think it would be a blast to see her as a judge on DWTS, we’re thinking her somewhat erratic and overly emotional behavior on American Idol might not be the best resume for a co-hosting gig.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars debuts March 22 on ABC.
