Dancing With the Stars Cast Winners and Losers

The new season of Dancing With the Stars kicks off tonight and we’re making our predictions on who will win and who will fall on their asses and fail miserably. Eleven celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners hit the stage for the 10th season of Dancing With the Stars on Monday night. Naturally, we have our own biased opinion on who is going to rock the dance floor and who is going to embarrass themselves thoroughly.

Least Likely to Win: Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa

There is virtually no chance this duo can win. The former astronaut is no spring chicken and he’s not going to be able to pull off the moves some of the other contestants will do with ease. Plus, it’s just kind of weird to watch a guy this old jiggle his butt. We’re predicting a high chance for a medical out with Aldrin, considering how often accidents and injuries happen on this show.

Most Likely to Win: Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskya

Evan Lysacek has already proven he can dance on ice skates like a friggin’ ballerina on steroids. We’re sure that’s going to translate into some spectacular moves on his own two feet. High probability Lysacek will be doing some killer lift moves with his partner, which we can’t wait to watch.

Most Likely to Have a Wardrobe Malfunction: Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitehood

We’re sorry to say it, but those boobs have got to make it difficult to bounce around on the dance floor without losing your top. Plus, they probably get in the way when you’re trying to do some kind of crazy lift move and we can hear the fabric ripping in our heads already. Really though, we just feel it in our bones there will be a viral video from DWTS of Pamela Anderson exposing something she shouldn’t. Whee!

Most Likely to Fall on Their Ass: Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani

We’re predicting a spill for this dancing couple because Kate Gosselin constantly moves like a wooden puppet wound too tightly – and that’s just when she’s grocery shopping! Plus, it’s obvious the girl has major control issues and she’s not going to relax when she’s being flung around the floor by her partner. She’ll grab when she should let go or try to push Dovolani around and down she’ll go. Well, that’s our gut feeling anyway, Gosselin may just prove us wrong, but we kind of hope not…

We’ll be tuning in to Dancing With the Stars Monday night to see how it goes, but regardless of whether we’re right or wrong on our predictions, we’re sure it will be a fun-filled, drama-packed season of DTWS once again!

Dancing With the Stars 2010 Cast of Strangeness

We didn’t quite believe it when the rumor hit that former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin would be appearing on the new season of Dancing With the Stars. Apparently, we were wrong to think she had more important things to do with herself (like raising her eight children). Kate Gosselin will indeed be starring on Dancing With the Stars season 10, along with a cast of other oddballs.

The season 10 cast of Dancing With the Stars was announced Monday night during the finale of The Bachelor. As usual, the DWTS season 10 cast is a mixture of cool, weird and just plain WTF were they thinking?

In addition to reality TV mom Kate Gosselin, the season 10 DWTS cast also includes Shannen Doherty of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame – another woman we could happily let fade into obscurity and never have to hear from again. Well known for her ball-busting ways, we look forward to SOME kind of drama emerging from this one’s dressing room.

The obligatory sports-themed contestants this season include football player Chad Ochocinco and Olympic gold medal figure skater Evan Lysachek. We’re already calling Lysachek as our favorite. I mean seriously, if this guy can dance like that on skates, what can he do with both feet actually on the floor?

Embarrassed ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews will also be tying on her dancing shoes. Let’s just hope they can keep the stalkers from video-taping her backstage changing into those ridiculous costumes. Poor Andrews certainly doesn’t need any more nude videos floating around.

Dancing With the Stars Season 10 Cast

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka is apparently already bored enough with his chosen bride-to-be Vienna that he’s decided to sign on for another reality show run to escape her clutches. Personally, we think he’ll probably get booted pretty fast. Seriously, he’s about as interesting as dry toast.

Pamela Anderson will be taking the slot of aging sex symbol in this season’s cast. Mostly we’re just curious if she’ll be able to keep her massive assets contained in those skimpy outfits while bouncing around attempting not to fall on her ass.

Taking the weirdness prize this season is 80-year-old astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Like with previous contestant Tom Delay, we’ll be biting our nails hoping Aldrin doesn’t just collapse in the middle of a dance and have to be rushed off to the ER.

Reno 911‘s Niecy Nash, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and soap opera player Aiden Turner round out the rest of the DTWS season 10 cast.

Who is your favorite for taking the top prize on DWTS this season? And who do you think is going to crash and burn right from the start?

Samantha Harris Leaving Dancing with the Stars After 8 Seasons

Dancing with the Stars co-host Samantha Harris is leaving the hit ABC reality series after eight seasons. Harris has decided not to return to DWTS for the show’s tenth season, but calls her time on the show a “dream job.”

“I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show,” Samantha Harris said of her time on Dancing with the Stars. Harris, who co-hosts the show with Tom Bergeron, is reportedly leaving the show to focus on other aspects of her career, including her correspondent gig on The Insider.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Samantha since she joined the DWTS team in Season 2,” executive producer Conrad Green told Access Hollywood. “She will be much missed, but always part of the DWTS family.”

Host Tom Bergeron said he would love to see Samantha Harris return to the show in a different capacity. “I’m hoping this frees her up for us to have her as a contestant,” he told People.

As for who will replace Harris, speculation is already running rampant. Could this possibly be the perfect time for Paula Abdul to finally snag that offer from ABC to sign on to DWTS? Well, while we think it would be a blast to see her as a judge on DWTS, we’re thinking her somewhat erratic and overly emotional behavior on American Idol might not be the best resume for a co-hosting gig.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars debuts March 22 on ABC.

Dancing with the Stars Offers Paula Abdul Million Dollar Deal

ABC is reportedly ready to offer ex-American Idol judge Paula Abdul a million dollar deal if she’ll sign on as a judge for Dancing with the Stars. The network has even allegedly offered to work the gig around Simon Cowell‘s new X Factor show if she plans on judging on that as well.

ABC has supposedly reached out with a million dollar development deal to Paula Abdul, but to get the money, she’d have to agree to appear on Dancing with the Stars. The proposed deal would also allow Abdul to appear on Simon Cowell’s new U.S. version of The X Factor. Rumor has it the two have been in talks to have Abdul join the show as a judge.

If Paula Abdul is finally ready to step back into the limelight as a DWTS judge, she’ll have to move quickly. The new season of the show is set to debut in March. Personally, we’d love to see Paul Abdul on DWTS. Whether you’re a fan of her music or not, there is no doubt that the girl can move it!

Kelly Osbourne Falls on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ – Can She Still Win?

Poor Kelly Osbourne took a fall on Dancing With the Stars in Monday’s finals and she’s pretty convinced she isn’t going to win. We still have high hopes for our favorite dancing duo, Osbourne and partner Louis van Amstel, but they are facing some stiff competition for the top prize.

Kelly Osbourne took a minor tumble during her “I Will Survive” freestyle disco routine, landing between partner Louis van Amstel’s legs. But hey, at least she kept grinning like she was having a blast even after the spill!

Osbourne knows winning Dancing With the Stars may not be in the cards for her. “I definitely came into this competition raw,” she told Us magazine, “and I don’t think I’m gonna win.” Considering Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin pulled a near-perfect score and Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson were close behind, we’re thinking Osbourne is probably right.

Amstel and Osbourne blamed the fall partially on slick body oil applied to the competitors before the group dance. “It was so slippery!” Amstel said, “I knew she was going to get taken down when we did the helicopter.”

Yeah, lubing yourself up with sparkly body oil before swinging around your partner like a money is probably not a good thing. Even if Osbourne and Amstel don’t take the big prize though, we applaud them both for a great season on DWTS!

Kelly Osbourne Injured on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital Monday night after suffering an injury to her foot while performing on Dancing With the Stars. Osbourne was nearing the end of her routine with partner Louis van Amstel when her shoe buckle reportedly “slammed into her foot.”

“At the end of our paso doble Kelly banged her foot on the floor which may have caused an injury,” Louis van Amstel said last night after the show. “She is at the hospital right now to take an X-ray and an MRI to make sure she will be OK to dance. Kelly will keep me updated on her prognosis.”

Osbourne managed to struggle through the pain of her injury long enough to dance the final number of the night – barefoot. Shortly afterward, Osbourne was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, accompanied by her father, Ozzy Osbourne.

This season of Dancing With the Stars has been plagued by injuries. Two weeks ago, former Republican congressman Tom DeLay was forced to drop out of the competition due to the pain and limitations caused by dealing with two stress fractures.

Get better soon Kelly!
