Pushing Daises star Kristin Chenoweth suffered a horrible migraine attack after winning the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress Sunday night. Paramedics were reportedly called backstage to treat Chenoweth after she complained of a migraine and said she couldn’t open her eyes.
Paramedics treated Kristin Chenoweth backstage at the Nokia Theater after the actress felt a nasty migraine coming on. Chenoweth left the Emmy Awards ceremony shortly afterwards to rest. The Pushing Daises star recovered enough to send out a Tweet Sunday evening saying: “sometimes the aura of a migraine. im warding it off w meds then gonna hit the town! thx 4 ur love n well wishes!!!”
“I do have a full fledged migraine. Sick but happy,” Chenoweth posted on her Twitter feed. “Finally dozing off… Getting better.”
Despite the migraine attack, Chenoweth took a moment to joke with her Twitter fans, posting, “Got to watch the acceptance speech. I [am] always shocked that my voice can get any higher. It was a shocking and awe-filled night.”
