Eva Longoria says she’s ready to move on

Eva Longoria spent most of last week and the past weekend celebrating her 36th birthday, and not only did she specifically say that she’s ready to put the whole Tony Parker divorce episode behind her, but she walked the talk by getting very cozy with her new boyfriend, Eduardo Cruz.

Eva celebrated her birthday with a trip to Disneyland and another trip to Vegas, and she told reporters that she had no regrets and was ready to face the future.  She spent the week surrounded by friends, and Cruz was right there the whole time.  Attendees at her parties said that they were all over each other and clearly very much in love.

It was the divorce that took everyone by surprise, especially Eva Longoria, who found out the hard way that her beloved husband, Tony Parker, was having secret sexy time with another woman.  Eva has put on a strong face for the public, and her determination not to hide away has been admirable, but recently she gave an interview that shows she’s still suffering.

Eva told Allure magazine that she still wells up with tears every time she thinks about her marriage, and that without her two female roommates, she doesn’t know how she would cope.  She said that the key to her strength is surrounding herself with amazing people who enrich her life.  Who needs a cheating husband?

Eva Longoria‘s Twitter stream may be full of inspirational quotes she’s using to try to cheer herself up about her divorce, but this weekend at the Golden Globes she looked absolutely stunning.  Eva has been chatting with friends and fans over Twitter about what to do when life gives you lemons, and has indicated that she feels weaker at some times than others, but it didn’t show at the awards ceremony, where she looked sleek and sexy in a floor-length black gown.

Tony Parker, you messed up.  Look what you had and lost!  Eva, on the other hand, got to sit next to Zac Efron at the Golden Globes, so that probably helped lift her spirits.

Eva and Tony’s divorce nosedives

Previous reports that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were communicating amicably and working toward a nice, clean divorce may have been a little premature.  So far, public sympathy has been firmly in the Eva camp, as she tried to pull herself together and file for divorce while dealing with the devastating discovery of hundreds of sexually explicit text messages on Tony’s cell phone between him and Erin Barry.

Well, now the table are turning and things are getting ugly as Tony is now alleging that he was not the only one who suffered from the infidelity bug.  He claims that Eva most likely had an affair with cyclist Lance Armstrong, and that his Textingate was nothing in comparison.  Eva has not responded to these allegations – it’s likely her attorney has advised her not to.

Eva Longoria’s divorce getting ugly

As if it weren’t sad enough that Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are getting divorced, it now seems to be a tug of war over honoring the prenuptial agreement.  Apparently when Eva filed last week in California, her divorce papers stated that she would reserve the right to collect spousal support.

This is in direct violation of her prenup with Tony, and it didn’t go unnoticed.  Tony responded by counter-filing his own divorce papers in his home state of Texas, a state where his lawyer feels it will be easier to enforce the prenup.  Eva has said that she was never trying to challenge the prenup and that she’s hurt Tony would counter-file against her, but the fact still remains that one of them will have to back down, and it will be interesting to see who it will be.

Is Erin Barry Tony Parker’s other woman?

It looks like we have a positive ID on the woman for whom Tony Parker betrayed Eva Longoria‘s trust – several sources say it’s Erin Barry, wife of Parker’s former NBA teammate Brent Barry.  Barry and Parker have secretly been texting each other for over a year, and now Eva Longoria has discovered the secret and decided that the messages were just a little too personal for her liking.

Parker still insists that it was just a bit of flirting and that nothing actually happened, but there were literally hundreds of messages between him and Barry on his mobile phone, and during that time he failed to mention anything about it to his wife, so clearly he knew he was doing something wrong.

Eva Longoria Let Tony Cut Her Hair!

Eva Longoria is a pretty brave babe. She’s been sporting a new haircut, and she told ET that hubby Tony Parker’s the one who cut it!

Tony cut my hair! I had to cut my hair for the show because Gabrielle has short hair, I wore a wig in the last episode, but I didn’t want to wear a wig this whole season, so I was like, I’m going to cut it!

Hairstylist Ken Paves apparently made Tony make the first move. He was too scared to do it himself! Ken said, “Tony, you’re going to do the first cut, so she can’t be mad at me.” Eva says “Tony did the first snip. Then he did more, and then he did more, and then Kenny cleaned it up”. Paves probably charged double for THAT fix, as Snarkista imagines it took awhile. She’d never let a basketball player or Ken Paves NEAR her hair! (See Jessica Simpson’s heinous flip-do a few years back…just sayin’)

Snarkista’s not crazy about Eva’s new ‘do, her long hair was a lot sexier. Still, it WOULD be hot to have all of that stuffed up in a wig most of the day. Maybe Tony went all Edward Scissorhands before Kenny could stop him. Oh well, it’s hair, it’ll grow back. Now Ken can sell Eva some extensions!
