Glee Season 5 Spoilers: Major Schedule Changes Ahead!

We already know that this is the next to last season of Glee. We know that with Cory Monteith gone, many of the storylines for Glee season 5 and season 6 that were dreamed up will never happen — such as Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn finally getting back together. Now it appears that FOX is eager to hurry the show along it’s way to the grave as quickly as possible.

Glee ratings are crap, we admit it, but we’re not sure we’re happy about the major changes the network just announced for the show’s schedule. Instead of letting Glee happily keep us warm on Thursday nights where we’ve gotten used to it, FOX has decided to switch the show back to Tuesdays at 8PM when it comes back after its long holiday haitus.

Glee’s Lea Michele Pens Song For Cory Monteith To Go With Tattoo

We knew back in September that Glee star Lea Michele had tattooed a tribute to late boyfriend Cory Monteith somewhere on her body. In October, we finally got a glimpse of part of the tattoo, which read “if you say so” on Lea’s right rib cage just below her breast. Those were reportedly the last words Cory ever spoke to her.

Now the Glee star has decided to pay tribute to the last words of her late boyfriend Cory through song as well as ink. While finishing up her new solo album, Lea Michele added one more song at the last minute in honor of Cory. “The album was done, and the label said, ‘Do you want to add anything?” Lea told Elle magazine. “I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t.”

Naya Rivera’s Super Bowl M&M Commercial, Video

Naya Rivera’s Super Bowl M&M commercial, video below. The Glee star gets up close and a little too personal with the Red M&M in a Super Bowl 2013 commercial that aired during Sunday’s game. As Red belted out Meat Loaf‘s “I’d Do Anything For Love.” the ad took a super-dark turn, as Naya and her pals started eating Red. But really, it’s his own fault for being soymmy!.

“Red sings a love song to a girl who clearly wants more than just love,” the video is captioned! “Photo shoot complete. Now off for some Super Bowl fun!” Naya tweeted earlier on Super Bowl Sunday. “Hahaha yay! So glad everyone caught the M&M commercial!” she added later during the game Continue reading Naya Rivera’s Super Bowl M&M Commercial, Video

Jane Lynch said she is “tickled pink” about hosting and looks “forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit.” Lynch should indeed be honored as ony two other women have hosted the Emmy’s solo — Angela Lansbury and Ellen DeGeneres.

Mark Burnet, Emmy Awards show executive producer, said Lynch was absolutely his first pick to be this year’s host. “She has incredible comedic timing, and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage. I am thrilled and excited to have her as our host,” Burnett said in a press statement.

The nominations for the 63rd Emmy Awards will be announced July 14. The show will be aired live on Fox on September 18.

Cosmopolitan reminds parents it’s an adult magazine

Poor Lea Michele – when you play an underage character on TV, apparently it prevents you from ever being able to act like an adult again.  Lea, whose character on Glee is a teenage student, is 24 in real life, and like many 24-year-olds with bodies to die for, she likes to dress sexy sometimes.  Big deal, right?

Well, apparently it is a big deal for some parents, who have taken issue with Lea’s recent cover shot for Cosmopolitan in which she wears a low-cut dress showing lots and lots of cleavage.  The argument the parents have made is that Lea is a role model for young girls, and she should act that way at all times. Cosmo’s response was clear and to the point: “Lea Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults.”  I mean, duh.

Madonna may tour with Glee cast

In case you didn’t know, Madonna is a huge fan of Glee, and not only does she have her own episode, she’s thinking about taking the cast on tour with her, as well.  Madonna has already said that her next tour may be one of her last, and she wants to do something big – given how popular Glee is right now, she could stir up a lot of interest by having some of the cast members on the tour.

There’s nothing official yet, it’s all still Madonna’s people negotiating with the Glee people, but it looks like some of the main characters from the show will appear for collaborative numbers on stage, sort of blurring the line between a concert and a musical.  That could be interesting, as long as it doesn’t become too cheesy.
