Singer Chris Brown, most well-known for being a girlfriend-beater with anger management issues, showed that his true colors haven’t charged after a meltdown on the Good Morning America set this week. Â Brown was a guest on the show, primarily there to promote his new album, but Robin Roberts decided instead to question him about his assault on Rihanna, the subsequent restraining order, and the fact that the restraining order has recently been reduced.
Brown returned to his dressing room after the interview and started screaming at people, eventually throwing a chair through a window, raining glass down onto the busy intersection below. Â Good to see he’s turned over a new leaf.
ABC News correspondent Bianna Golodryga announced on Good Morning America Tuesday she is engaged to Obama administration budget director Peter Orszag. The couple met in May at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner.

Bianna Golodryga said jokingly on Good Morning America that her new husband-to-be is “tall, dark and he could say Golodryga and spell it after our first date. That is a winner in my book.”
Orszag reportedly popped the question at a romantic lunch at Sarabeth’s restaurant in New York City on Monday.
Before signing on to work with the Obama administration as director of the Office of Management and Budget, Orszag worked as the director of the Congressional Budget Office. He was also an economic adviser under the Clinton White House. Orszag has two children from a previous marriage.
The couple is reportedly planning a wedding in October.
Former White House aide George Stephanopoulos has signed on as the new co-host of Good Morning America. Stephanopoulos will replace Diane Sawyer, who is moving to take over the reins of ABC’s World News Tonight from Charles Gibson.

George Stephanopoulos will start his run on Good Morning America on Monday, co-hosting with ABC news journalist JuJu Chang. This pretty much leaves former GMA correspondent Chris Cuomo without a chair to sit in. Cuomo may move to 20/20 as a co-anchor, but no official plans have been announced yet.
We’re wondering if he’s feeling a bit miffed at being passed over for Stephanopoulos. Plus, we’re not really looking forward to Stephanopoulos as a co-host on GMA. His eyebrows are too distracting.
Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts and meteorologist Sam Champion are expected to remain in place. An official announcement from ABC about the shake-up on Good Morning America is expected on Thursday.
Whitney Houston looked fabulous, but struggled with her voice during a much-hyped performance on Good Morning America on Wednesday. Appearing on Good Morning America, Whitney Houston couldn’t stop telling the gathered crowd how much she loved them. Obviously from the near-continuous screaming, they loved her right back.
Houston, who has allegedly fought to overcome severe drug and alcohol addictions, looked stylish, alert and in great spirits during her performance. Sadly, however, her voice didn’t match up with the positive attitude and the glam makeover.
Performing only three songs for the Good Morning America taping, Whitney Houston blamed a trying interview schedule for her shaky, cracking vocals. “I’m so sorry. I did Oprah,” Houston told the audience. “I’ve been talking for so long… I talked so much, my voice…”
Indeed, Houston’s amazing voice was little more than a throaty, off-key croak throughout most of her performance. We’d like to believe the diva when she says it’s all because of the talk shows. Unfortunately, there has been too much evidence of late that Houston’s voice is a permanently damaged ruin of the incredible instrument it once was.
Good Morning America host Diane Sawyer asked the question many Whitney Houston fans wanted answered: Why the comeback after all this time? Houston replied she was driven by “my faith, the love and support of my fans, which I do have. That’s basically what it is.”
Whitney Houston’s appearance on Oprah will air Sept. 14.

Happy Birthday to Britney Spears, who has been inescapable for the past few weeks. Britney’s releasing her new, appropriately named album “Circus” today, and the PR blitz has been massive. Britney had a tell-all Sunday night that got huge ratings, although it was a bit of a yawner. Today Brit-Brit dropped in on “Good Morning America” to cut yet another “Circus” birthday cake and to lipsynch sing. She was wearing Madonna’s top hat, and Snarkista detected a smidge of butt cleavage in the performance… but at least she was wearing pants!
David Cook, winner and Snarkista’s total FAVE this past season on American Idol, is coming to Saturday Night Live on November 1st! He’ll be the musical guest for the night, and will perform his first single “Light On”. If you haven’t heard it, OR can’t get enough of it…here you go.
David’s appearance will be the earliest any American Idol winner or finalist has appeared on the show. He’ll be Idol number 4 to appear. The three other Idols to do SNL appeared quite a while after their albums had been released. Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson have all visited the show. With SNL’s ratings up in the stratosphere these days, it’s a SMART move by brainy Dave. (Snarkista loves a word-geek.)
David’s self-titled first album will drop on November 18th. His performance of “Light On†on SNL will be the first TV performance of the song. David’s will also do a live performance on Good Morning America November 17th. His national tour will begin in early 2009.

MSNBC sources are reporting that the legend in her own mind got PISSY about all the attention Olympic superstar Michael Phelps is getting. Hahahahah!!!! J. Lo appeared on “Good Morning America” yesterday to pimp her prep for the upcoming Malibu Triathlon. GMA sources say that after the segment, diva was overheard saying she:
“couldn’t understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer. She couldn’t come up with (eight-time gold-medal winner Michael) Phelps’ name, and then she blabbed on about how SHE was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth, and how that SHE was the big story right now, not ‘the swimmer.’ “
