Katy “I Kissed a Girl” Perry will appear on the new season of American Idol, along with other guest celebrity judges such as Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow. The rotating guest judges will serve as stand-ins for the recently departed Paula Abdul.

Speaking about her guest spot on American Idol, Katy Perry told EOnline.com she thinks she’ll end up being buddies with snarky judge Simon Cowell because “whenever I watch that show, as much as he’s an a**hole, he’s a very truthful, honest a**hole.”

“I’m not there to build them up. It’s weird, because I don’t want to break their hearts, but everyone knows someone who’s been doing karaoke and doing little gigs here and there, and nobody has told them that they can’t sing on pitch for, like, 15 years?”

Amen, Katy. Some of these people are seriously deluded about their singing talents. Of course, we think you might be one of them…

“When I look at the police reports or hear about the police reports, I don’t know what to think. It’s just like, wow.”

When asked by Larry King if he remembers attacking Rihanna, Chris Brown answers in the video clip with a simple and unbelievable “No.”

Chris Brown was convicted for felony assault against Rihanna on August 25 and sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to the charges.

Chris Brown attempts to push some of the blame for his abusive attack on a history of abuse from his stepfather in his own past. Brown also tells Larry King during the interview that he “never slid out of love” with Rihanna.

To add insult to severe injury, Chris Brown has included an “apology” song, “Changed Man,” to Rihanna on his new album. “This ain’t over / it ain’t over,” he sings. “I remember your touch / God I miss u so much / please believe me / Baby I’m sorry,” Brown sings. Stalker much?

Violently beating up your girlfriend and then making her relive it through song is a lovely way of showing your undying affection, Mr. Brown.

Carrie Prejean became embroiled in a nationwide controversy after speaking out against gay marriage at the Miss USA competition in April. A month later, she was fired from her position as the Miss California USA representative. Officials for Miss California says Prejean was fired because she repeatedly missed scheduled appearances for the organization and failed to clear non-affiliated appearances with them – many of which centered around airing her anti-gay views.

The former pageant queen, however, claims Miss California USA fabricated evidence to support their claim she was fired for other than religious reasons. In court documents filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court, Carrie Prejean states the organization “fabricated a fraudulent list of some 50 public appearances allegedly missed by Prejean which they released to the media in order to justify her termination as Miss California USA.”

Carrie Prejean is accusing the organization of religious discrimination, defamation and emotional distress, among other charges.

“I’m almost done with The Hills. We’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving them,” Patridge said in a press statement while promoting her new movie, Sorority Row.

The 24-year-old reality TV star hopes to return to her original dream of becoming a film actress after she departs The Hills. “I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings and working full-time at Quixote Studios and Smashbox.”

If her performance in Sorority Row is any indication of her movie acting skills, we think perhaps leaving a hit show like The Hills isn’t necessarily the best career move…

The body of Michael Jackson contained a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic drug propofol along with a cocktail of other prescription drugs, according to official  autopsy results from the Los Angeles Coroner’s office. The official cause of death was listed in the press statement as acute intoxication from the anesthetic propofol. Because the fatal drug overdose contributing to Michael Jackson’s death was administered by a second party, the death of the pop icon has been ruled a homicide.

“The drugs Propofol and Lorazepam (Ativan) were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death. Other drugs detected were: Midazolam (Versed), Diazepam (Valium), Lidocaine (topical anesthetic) and Ephedrine,” the report from the coroner’s office concluded. The statement from the coroner’s office also detailed “other conditions contributing to death: Benzodiazepine effect.” Benzodiazepine is used to treat insomnia and anxiety. The final Michael Jackson autopsy results and toxicology test information is currently under a security hold by request from the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

The coroner’s determination that Michael Jackson died from a lethal overdose of propofol was first leaked last week by an unidentified police official.

Michael Jackson’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray has admitted to administering propofol and other prescription drugs to the singers in the hours shortly before his death, according to court documents recently released to the media. Murray is currently being investigated on possible manslaughter charges.

Searches of Michael Jackson’s home following his death revealed a large collection of drugs, including marijuana and a slew of prescription medications. The offices and home of Dr. Conrad Murray were also searched for evidence regarding his treatment of the late pop icon.

In addition to the drugs provided to him by Dr. Conrad Murray, evidence is mounting the singer was also provided with prescriptions by Jackson’s dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein – illegally obtained in his own name and passed on to the singer. Dr. Arnold Klein is one of several men theorized to possibly have fathered one or more of Michael Jackson’s children. Klein admits he donated sperm in the past, but says he did not specifically donate with the intention of fathering children for Michael Jackson and does not know if he may be their biological father.

Even though we have to serious question the taste level of the creators of this debacle, it is kind of amusing in a very sick and twisted way.

What we really want to know, however, is how Octomom Nadya Suleman is going to figure out how to milk this shit for her own monetary gain. Can we say pending lawsuit anyone? Or maybe Octomom should integrate some musical numbers into her new reality show to play on this new aspect of her questionable fame.

Brody Jenner was outraged when Joe Francis allegedly started harassing an ex-girlfriend of The Hills star at the Guys and Dolls club in Los Angeles Thursday night. Jenner’s girlfriend, Jayde Nicole, reportedly threw a drink in Joe Francis’ face when he wouldn’t stop hitting on Jenner’s ex. According to Brody Jenner, Girls Gone Wild loser Joe Francis went after Nicole, pulling out her hair, punching her in the face and kicking her after throwing her to the ground.

From there, a screaming match erupted and the boys were thrown out on the street. Brody Jenner and Joe Francis proceeded to whack on each other outside the club. In the midst of the rumble, someone tased Jenner, leaving him lying stunned on the ground.

Police eventually arrived on the scene, but no one was arrested, a fact Brody Jenner is apparently not pleased about. “Joe Francis needs to be in jail!!!” Brody Jenner posted on Twitter Friday morning. “How can you call yourself a man when you beat up a girl??” Francis reportedly left the scene before the cops showed up and is wanted for questioning.

Jayde Nicole told TMZ.com she plans on pressing charges against Joe Francis, claiming her face is swollen from being punched and she has a bruised rib from the attack.

“Chris March’s lawsuit is not against Beyoncé, but rather against Thierry Mugler and Tancrede Prinz, who owe Chris money for having designed and fitted Beyoncé’s costumes,” March’s lawyer, Leslie H. Ben-Zvi said in a press statement regarding the lawsuit. “Beyoncé paid them, but they in turn have not paid Chris. Chris continues to be a fan and great admirer of Beyoncé, who looks beautiful in everything she wears, especially Chris’s costumes.”

Chris March, who placed fourth both on season 4 of Project Runway and in the Project Runway All-Star Challenge special, says he was hired as “head of costumes” for Beyoncé’s tour in  February. While diva Beyoncé Knowles was busy wearing his dazzling designs, Chris March was allegedly trying desperately to get paid for his work.

Although March, known for his elaborate costume work on and off Project Runway, is pretty pissed at Beyoncé’s design team at present, he’s still a Beyoncé-lover at heart. “Chris continues to be a big fan and admirer of Beyoncé,” Ben-Zvi said. “And Beyoncé is a big fan of Chris’ as well. She continues to look beautiful in anything she wears, especially Chris’ costumes.”

Nice self-promotion in the midst of defending yourself from Beyoncé’s ire, Mr. March. We applaud you.

In addition to two bags of marijuana and various pot paraphernalia, prescription drugs for the treatment of skin conditions, anti-anxiety pills, sleep aids, steroids, anti-fungal medications and other  prescriptions were found. However, earlier reports that tar heroin was found in Michael Jackson’s home have now been refuted.

The official cause of Michael Jackson’s death is expected to be released on Friday by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Of course, no self-respecting starlet is without video surveillance cameras, so the thieves were caught on tape. Which is where the strange part comes in. The Hills star Audrina Patridge also had her Los Angeles digs robbed earlier this year. And the burglars were caught on tape.

 Interestingly, camera footage of the two incidents reveal at least one of the burglars appears to have been at both break-ins. Audrina’s home was also broken in to via an unlocked door.
