According to the latest info, the final two Harry Potter films will be split at a critical and cliff-hanging point in the books. According to Joshua Herdman, who plays Slytherin lackey Goyle, the first film will end right after Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermoine (Emma Watson) are captured by the “Snatchers” in the book.
Oh, and in quite snarky news, rumor has it that Goyle will bite it in the final films rather than Crabbe, as detailed in the book. Harry Potter fan site MuggleNet.com says the decision to axe Josh Herdman’s character instead came after he was arrested for marijuana possession. Put that in your Pot(ter) and smoke it!
Of course, regardless of what obviously bitter Herdman says about the split, it’s all still rumors and speculation at this point. The Harry Potter powers-that-be could change their minds at any time – especially now that the info on the split has allegedly been leaked.
