However, sources say the salary isn’t unearned. Apparently Jamie did the job of five people on the tour, thereby ensuring that Britney and Co save more than a million in salaries for people they would have hired. Let’s call that money well spent.

Nickelodeon star Jamie Lynn Spears and fiancé Casey Aldridge reportedly broke up about six weeks ago when Spears moved out of the couple’s home and back in with her mother. So we’re guessing that wedding they kept talking about forever but never actually had is pretty much permanently off.

Spears famously became a ‘poster child’ for unwed teenage parenthood when she revealed she was pregnant with Aldridge’s child when she was 16. The couple’s now 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, is reportedly living with Spears.

Spears and Aldridge have not commented so far on reports of their breakup, but rumor has it Spears already has a new man in her life. According to People, Spears is now dating James Watson, a businessman from Louisiana.

Well, we can only hope Jamie Lynn will be moving on up to her new beau’s digs sometime soon, because if she has any sense at all, she won’t be keeping her daughter under Lynne Spears’ roof for long. We shudder to think of momma Spears having her hands involved too deeply in raising yet another generation of the family brood.

Doctors at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., said they plan to move the 19-year-old out of the intensive care unit as early as Monday, a source close to the family tells People.

“They said it was borderline whether he needed surgery or not,” says the source, “but they’ve taken some scans and see no further damage.”

Aldridge, the father of Spears’s 10-month-old daughter Maddie, has made some bone-headed moves in the past…particularly having a proclivity to CHEAT. Snarkista says that either having his bell rung in a major way could turn Casey into a genius, or, more probably, ensure more idiot stunts. The smart money is on “B”.

Teen mom Jamie Lynn Spears has decided not to marry her womanizing baby-daddy Casey Aldridge. OK! Magazine reporteds:

“The wedding’s off,” a source tells the publication. “They are still in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a ring and piece of paper. She and Casey have weathered a lot in their young relationship already and don’t need the pressure of making wedding plans.”

In June, the couple welcomed their daughter Maddie Briann. Casey’s been busted for cheating before and after the baby’s birth.

Most recently, Jamie and Casey were seen taking their little daughter to big sis Britney Spears’ comeback concert, “Circus”, on March 3. Good thing Maddie is younger than her cousins Sean Preston and Jayden James, who are being dragged to Brit’s concerts every night as they’ve been forced to join the Circus. She probably can’t see the stage yet, and that’s a good thing! It’s definitely NOT kid-friendly, but this is a foreign concept to the Spears sisters.

Papa Jamie Spears, now in permanent control of Britney’s entire life, apparently is refusing to work with OK!, and the tab has banned its staff from Spears events! Natch, a rep for OK! denies all, saying:

“We always follow the Spears- in fact, Britney is on our current cover, and we’ll continue running stories about them. We need them and they need us.”

We’ll see if the recession changes anyone’s mind about an end to the long relationship…Britney has no lack of scandal these days, even though Papa Spears is running the show. Her new single, “If You Seek Amy”, is the subject of much global hand-wringing. The naughty tune has been banned from Australian airplay, and may suffer the same fate in the U.S.

The agreement gives permanent control of the singer’s finances to Papa Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet. Jamie will be the sole conservator over Britney’s personal life. For life. Mind-boggling! In the court papers pertaining to Britney’s financial matters, it says Britney “is substantially unable to manage … her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”

When it comes to Britney’s personal life, the papers state she “is unable properly to provide for her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” The personal order also gives her father “the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means.” So, Brit-Brit still doesn’t have enough sense to come in out of the rain, or ingest things besides cheetos and frappuchinos. Okay, now daddy will eternally keep an eye on her. Just one problem…who’s watching Jamie-Lynn?

“Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.”

A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source. Mom Lynne Spears was apparently livid. Snarkista thinks Lynne hasn’t spent enough time educating Jamie-Lynn about the birds and the bees, amongst MANY other things. Guess she was too busy writing her tell-all book about Britney and Jamie Lynn. 17 year old Jamie Lynn gave birth only 3 months ago to her daughter Maddie Brianne.

“Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical. Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.”

Er, guess it’s a little too late for that. Womanizer boyfriend Casey Aldridge is Maddie’s daddy, but the Enquirer says it will reveal the father of THIS baby in it’s print issue, which hits the stands today. Great. Look for Jamie Lynn to follow in big sis Britney’s steps and go batshit crazy in a few years. It won’t be pretty when that long blond hair gets shaved off.

Lynne has thrown HERSELF under the bus mom-wise, but hey…Brit-Brit has burned through some major coin lately, and a mom’s gotta have her spa days! Here are just a few nuggets:

Britney started drinking at 13, after she joined The Mickey Mouse Club. Lynne was one of those moms who didn’t really care as long as she was around for the drankin’. Hit me baby one more time…with vodka!

Lynne let Britney date an 18 year old football player when she was 14. Lynne was all for THIS genius idea, ‘cuz she wanted Britney to be popular! Kentwood family values! It was also cool with Lynne for Britney to spend the night with the jockstrap. Shocker when the dude popped Brit-Brit’s cherry! And you fell for that crap about Britney being a virgin when she was 14. Suckers!

When Britney was 16, she got caught with cocaine and pot while trying to board a private plane. By then, she was dating and sleeping with Justin Timberlake. In Britney’s room. ‘Cuz Lynne let them. But Britney was in love, y’all! Come on! A mom’s gotta have a heart! Have YOU ever had to argue with a 16 year old? Lynne rests her case.

Lynne blames Britney’s managers for turning her into a sex symbol at such a tender age. WTF?! Oh, and Lynne is really sad about her baby Jamie Lynn’s early knock-up too.
