One Tree Hill actress Jana Rae Kramer and actor Johnathon Schaech have taken the first step toward the altar. Schaech, 40, proposed to 26-year-old Kramer over the holidays. The couple has been dating since they met on the set of the thriller flick Prom Night.
“It was the happiest moment of my life,†Jana Kramer told People of the engagement. Schaech said he “can’t wait to make Jana my wife and have a family.” Schaech was previously married to Christina Applegate, whom he divorced in 2007.
In a video of the proposal posted on his Facebook page, Schaech said Kramer was having a “very bad day” before he popped the question. All that changed, however, when he surprised Kramer by taking her ice skating. In the middle of the ice rink, Schaech pulled out a ring box and popped the question. Kramer responded with a waterfall of happy tears and the always hoped for “Yes, I will marry you!”
