Katherine Heigl Adopts Baby Girl from Korea

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl is about to become mother to a new baby girl with husband Josh Kelley. No, she’s not been hiding a baby bump all these months. Katherine Heigl has reportedly decided to skip over all that pregnancy hassle and go straight to the good part – a brand new baby daughter.

According to RadarOnline.com, the real reason behind Katherine Heigl’s hiatus from Grey’s Anatomy isn’t just about the new movie she’s shooting (or the strained relationship between herself and the show’s creators), but also because she’s preparing to be a new mommy. Heigl will allegedly be bringing a new 10-month-old baby girl named Nayleigh – nicknamed Leigh - home from Korea this week.

Earlier this summer, Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley admitted to Access Hollywood they were working on adopting a child. Apparently the couple finally managed to find the perfect match. Heigl’s adopted sister, Meg, is Korean, which likely inspired the choice of country to search for the new addition to her family.

So far the soon to be parents aren’t commenting about the adoption rumors. Inquiries to Heigl’s reps have so far met with no response.
