Okay, here’s what happened: Kelly Osbourne called Courtney Love a crackhead on national television. Â “What’s wrong with that?” I hear you ask. Â Well, I suppose truth is an absolute defense, so Kelly does have that going for her, but Courtney didn’t take it too well.
She admitted to having drug issues, but Love said that Kelly has no room to talk, as she saved Kelly’s life on two occasions, giving her CPR when she had overdosed. Â Thus began the Twitter war of each side saying she felt sorry for the other, ending with Courtney trying to take the less-low road by stepping away from the feud and wishing Kelly well. Â That probably won’t be the end of it, though.
Rehab veteran Kelly Osbourne did some heavy partying this weekend, bar-hopping with friends and drinking more than her share of beer and tequila. Â Kelly, as we all know, has an embarrassing history with drugs and alcohol, and has spent quite a lot of time in and out of rehab, allegedly to try to get control of her problem.
So to see her out drinking heavily like it’s no big deal is saddening. Â It’s very reminiscent of Lindsay Lohan‘s old pattern: treat rehab as a fun vacation and then just go right back to partying afterward. Â Maybe Lindsay can give Kelly some tips on how to stay sober for good.
Poor Kelly Osbourne took a fall on Dancing With the Stars in Monday’s finals and she’s pretty convinced she isn’t going to win. We still have high hopes for our favorite dancing duo, Osbourne and partner Louis van Amstel, but they are facing some stiff competition for the top prize.
Kelly Osbourne took a minor tumble during her “I Will Survive” freestyle disco routine, landing between partner Louis van Amstel’s legs. But hey, at least she kept grinning like she was having a blast even after the spill!
Osbourne knows winning Dancing With the Stars may not be in the cards for her. “I definitely came into this competition raw,” she told Us magazine, “and I don’t think I’m gonna win.” Considering Mya and partner Dmitry Chaplin pulled a near-perfect score and Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson were close behind, we’re thinking Osbourne is probably right.
Amstel and Osbourne blamed the fall partially on slick body oil applied to the competitors before the group dance. “It was so slippery!” Amstel said, “I knew she was going to get taken down when we did the helicopter.”
Yeah, lubing yourself up with sparkly body oil before swinging around your partner like a money is probably not a good thing. Even if Osbourne and Amstel don’t take the big prize though, we applaud them both for a great season on DWTS!
Kelly Osbourne was rushed to the hospital Monday night after suffering an injury to her foot while performing on Dancing With the Stars. Osbourne was nearing the end of her routine with partner Louis van Amstel when her shoe buckle reportedly “slammed into her foot.”
“At the end of our paso doble Kelly banged her foot on the floor which may have caused an injury,” Louis van Amstel said last night after the show. “She is at the hospital right now to take an X-ray and an MRI to make sure she will be OK to dance. Kelly will keep me updated on her prognosis.”
Osbourne managed to struggle through the pain of her injury long enough to dance the final number of the night – barefoot. Shortly afterward, Osbourne was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, accompanied by her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
This season of Dancing With the Stars has been plagued by injuries. Two weeks ago, former Republican congressman Tom DeLay was forced to drop out of the competition due to the pain and limitations caused by dealing with two stress fractures.
The celebrity contestants for Dancing with the Stars Season 9 were announced Monday on Good Morning America. The eclectic mix includes such oddities as reality stars Mark Dacascos and Kelly Osbourne, politician Tom Delay, UFC fighter Chuck Liddell and model Joanna Krupa.
The Dancing With the Stars 2009 cast is perhaps the strangest mix of contestants yet. The announcement of the DWTS season 9 cast was made on Good Morning America on Monday by host Tom Bergeron. Bergeron also discussed a few changes to the DWTS format for season 9.
“In the middle of our season, over three weeks, we’re going to have double eliminations,” Bergeron said. “We’ll lose about half of our cast within that period. It will be a ballroom bloodbath.”
We can’t wait. Check out the full cast list below:

Sharon Osbourne doesn’t want to say where or why, but she confirmed that daughter Kelly Osbourne, 23, is back in rehab.
“Yeah, Kelly’s in rehab,” the matriarch of the Osbourne clan confirmed to Radar.
“What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we’re proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she’s getting it.”
Sharon said Kelly will be in treatment for at least the next 30 days, and would only say the location was outside of the L.A. area.
On why Kelly’s back in the ‘hab, Sharon said only that “Kelly will tell you herself when she gets out. We just pray that everything’s going to be okay.”
Kelly had been working steadily with father Ozzy Osbourne and brother Jack on Fox TV’s new Osbournes Reloaded variety show before being shipped off. An emotional Sharon reiterated:
“This is one of the absolute worst things that a parent can face, for their child to go through rehab. And not once, but twice. However, we are all very glad Kelly’s doing it.”
Here’s hoping Kelly will actually STAY in rehab long enough to kick whatever she’s trying to kick. ALL of it. Being the daughter of the Prince Of Darkness is tough. Snarkfood wishes Kelly a successful recovery from her substance-abuse demons.
