When Dax Shepard revealed on Jimmy Kimmel that his wedding to Kristen Bell cost the couple just $142 dollars, we said bravo! Dax and Kristen got married at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on October 17 for under $200 bucks — and that included the gas. Granted, Dax told Jimmy Kimmel he hasn’t yet bought a ring but we’re betting he isn’t going to lay out $2 million for some insane rock or anything nutball like that.

Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Welcome Baby Girl Lincoln

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard welcome baby girl Lincoln. It’s a baby girl for Bell! Actress Kristen Bell and fiance Dax Shepard welcomed their first child together, the couple announced on Twitter Thursday, March 28. “Lincoln Bell Shepard is here,” Shepard tweeted. “She has mom’s beauty and dad’s obsession with breasts. Hooray!” Bell added, “My new roommate poops her pants and doesn’t pay rent . . . basically Dax Shepard pre-sobriety. Welcome baby Lincoln.”

Gossip Girl Kristen Bell Pregnant But Won’t Marry Until Gays Can

Gossip Girl star Kristen Bell is pregnant and expecting her first child with fiance Dax Shepard in the spring. Kristen Bell may be engaged and pregnant, but she won’t be taking the next step and getting married until same-sex marriage is legal in California.

“We’re not punishing America by not getting married,” Parenthood star Dax Shepard, 37, told CNN in August. “We’re not going to have a party and invite our friends, half of whom can’t [get married]. We’re not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don’t have. That’s just tacky.”

Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell Will Scream 4 You

True Blood star Anna Paquin and Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell have both signed on for cameo roles in Wes Craven‘s upcoming Scream 4 horror sequel. The Scream film franchise is well known for placing big name stars in cameo roles. Drew Barrymore, for example was gruesomely murdered at the beginning of the original Scream movie.

Scream 4 is currently filming in Michigan and is scheduled to be released in theaters next April. Scream franchise alumni Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are also on board for the film, along with newcomers Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere and Adam Brody.

We just can’t wait to see what Wes Craven does to our beloved Sookie Stackhouse in Scream 4. We’d especially love it if she turns out to somehow be on the evil side of things, instead of a hapless victim. Although we do know from True Blood that Anna Paquin does pack a wallop of a scream in that tiny body!

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Engaged!

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had something of their own to celebrate at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards – they’re engaged! Former Heroes star Kristen Bell showed off her shiny new engagement ring on the red carpet at the Grammys last night.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell reportedly became engaged over the holidays, but kept the news under wraps until Sunday night, Bell’s rep told People. No word yet on when the wedding might take place. If they can keep the nuptials as quiet as they kept the engagement, we might not even know until after they’ve tied the knot!

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have been a couple for more than two years. Bell was previously engaged to producer Kevin Michael Mann before their relationship ended in 2007.

David Archuleta Gets A Teen Choice Nomination!

No big surprise here, but squealmaker David Archuleta has received a 2008 Teen Choice Awards nomination for having the most fanatic fans! Archie could probably take this one home, as anyone knows who witnessed the asteroid shower of screams that rocked American Idol EVERY TIME he took the stage!

Other categories have been added to the “Teen Choice” voting ballot- including Choice MySpace and Archie’s category of Choice Fanatic Fans. There are a LOT of categories, in response to the online input on the award’s site. Fans can vote once a day on the Teen Choice website. You’re supposed to be a teen, but, whatever. If you love you some Jonas Brothers or are an Ironman fan… Snarkista won’t tell if you vote.

Stars scheduled to appear on the August 8th show (Fox, 8pm eastern) include The Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, Scarlett Johannson, Kristen Bell, Chace Crawford, Hayden Panettiere and many more. The show will be hosted by…wait for it…Miley Cyrus. Miley’s gotta be able to do this hostessing shizz in her SLEEP by now!
