While the late Amy Winehouse‘s life would certainly make one hell of a movie, the British singer’s dad says rumors of an upcoming biopic film possibly featuring Lady Gaga are not true. In fact, Mitch Winehouse said the family would never allow his daughter’s songs to be released to be used for a movie.
Rumors that Winehouse’s ex Reg Traviss has been trying to produce a film about the singer have contributed to fanning the flames about a possible Amy Winehouse movie. The specific rumor of a biopic movie possibly starring Lady Gaga as Amy Winehouse appears to have been spawned by the UK Mirror tabloid.
Megastar Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will be making a guest appearance as herself on The Simpsons in an episode titled “Lisa Goes Gaga.” Lady Gaga said appearing on The Simpsons is “one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.”

Lady Gaga, who is set to open the 2011 Video Music Awards on Sunday, said her dad (who we assume is a big Simpsons fan) is “probably going to do 80 backflips when the episode comes out.”
In the “Lisa Goes Gaga” episode, Lady Gaga comes to Springfield to cheer up the character of Lisa. She also apparently gets a bit naughty and kisses Marge! “I play a little bit of a slut,” Gaga said of her role. “The apple doesn’t fall far from my artistic tree.”
The voice of Lisa Simpson, Yeardley Smith, said the writers for the show describe Lady Gaga as “the happiest, most optimistic person in the world.”
In the episode, Lady Gaga not only plays herself, it is a full on Gaga experience with a Gaga Express train and giant flame-shooting bustier, according to EW.com.
“Since the very beginning, I’ve always wanted to have on the most iconic personalities of our time, and she’s it,†Simpsons creator Matt Groening said. “It’s very hard to top reality with her, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something that is going to be as improbable as her usual wardrobe.â€
Two weeks after Lady Gaga flipped off the world at large during a Mets vs Yankees game, Jerry Seinfeld is slamming the pop star for being “a jerk.” Seinfeld ended up with Lady Gaga in his box after her now infamous vulgar finger display and he’s definitely not a fan.

“This woman is a jerk. I hate her,” Jerry Seinfeld said in an interview with WFAN radio. “I can’t believe they put her in my box, which I paid for.”
Barely dressed in a bra, panties and a half-open Yankees jersey, Lady Gaga was moved to Seinfeld’s box after wielding her middle fingers against photographers and the opposing team. Gaga was reportedly pissed at being seated too close to a gaggle of photographers,
Seinfeld, meanwhile, was not very pleased at having Lady Gaga moved to his box.
“You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now?” he said… “I don’t know what these young people think or how they promote their careers,” Seinfeld said. “I wish her the best. You take one ‘A’ off of that and you’ve got gag.”
As for Lady Gaga, her response to the flap over her rude gestures was simple. “A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I’d die for my fans.”
