There’s no word on how long the happy couple of have been together, but it’s reasonable to assume that this change is pretty recent.  For that extra touch of class, Johnston and Oglesby posed for their smooching Facebook picture in front of some antlers mounted on a wall.  It just goes to show that white trash knows no state lines – Alaskans can join in the fun, too!

Levi Johnston is apparently on a quest to get fame any way he can, no matter how embarrassing the vehicle. The infamous young man who knocked up Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol has already tried numerous ways to keep his 15 minutes of fame going. Including, of course, that ridiculous Playgirl photo spread and that disgusting pistachio nut commercial.

Now Levi Johnston will reportedly be starring in a new reality show featuring him trying to become mayor of his hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office, in production by Stone and Co., will document the unwed father’s attempt to run for political office and pathetic quest to be famous in his own right.

“[Levi Johnston] will give us a real inside look into who he is as a father, a skilled hunter, an avid dirt biker and his journey down the road of small-town politics… right after he gets his high school diploma,” Stone and Co. said about the show.

Of course, Levi Johnston doesn’t even have that high school diploma yet and has absolutely no political experience at all. Apparently, banging the daughter of an almost vice-president is enough of a resume for Johnston.

Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin announced they had gotten back together and were engaged last month. Palin, however, allegedly called the whole thing off after seeing Johnston in a video mocking her family. We just wish Levi would give it up already. Some people are just not meant to be stars, especially people who get famous in the first place just for having unprotected sex.

Bristol Palin, daughter of former vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, is suing Levi Johnston for child support. Palin claims Johnston hasn’t given her nearly enough money to help support their son Tripp. She claims her former beau earned over $105,000 in 2009 through “various media interviews and modeling related activities,” including that nude Playgirl spread in December.

Palin wants Johnston to pay her $1,750 a month in child support from his entertainment earnings. She claims Johnston has only forked over $4,400 to support his son so far. Johnston’s manager, Tank Jones, says Bristol Palin is lying and claims his client has paid his baby momma more than $10,000 since Tripp was born.

We think Bristol Palin may be setting her sights just a bit too high in trying to wrangle nearly $2,000 a month out of Levi Johnston. After all, how long can he really keep peddling his 15 minutes of fame to keep paying the bills? Being famous for not practicing safe sex and knocking up a teenager isn’t really a long-term career.

Levi Johnston, Bristol Palin’s ex-boyfriend, wanted the court custody proceedings to be public. “I feel more comfortable in a public courtroom which will help everyone stay civil and be on their best behavior,” Johnston said in a press statement.

In addition to sole custody, Bristol Palin also wants child support and a ban on Johnston’s mother visiting with their son without supervision. Sherry Johnston was arrested earlier this year on drug charges.

Levi Johnston, who recently appeared in a racy nude photo shoot for Playgirl, wants shared custody of son Tripp and denies he has avoided his parental responsibilities.

Either way it shakes out, we just can’t help feel bad for the kid. But if poor Tripp does end up getting to stay with Mom and Grandma Palin, at least he’ll get to see Russia from his house.

“Maybe I’m a genius and not even know it,” Shatner recited. “Maybe I don’t exist and it only seems like I do. Maybe this is a parallel universe where I don’t. Anybody know where I can get some good weed?”

Shatner has already mocked Sarah Palin twice with similar poetic renditions of her resignation speech and posts made to her Twitter account while she was Governor of Alaska. In both those cases, it really was Palin’s words Shatner mocked. This time, however, Levi Johnston says he is not the author of the Twitter messages read by William Shatner during the skit on the Tonight Show.

Rex Butler, Levi Johnston’s lawyer, says his client is demanding a retraction from NBC. Before the skit aired, Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien said: “All real… we did not make this up.” Johnston doesn’t argue that the Twitter comments are real, but he flatly denies they were penned by him. His lawyer says the Twitter account the Tonight Show attributed to Levi Johnston – LeviJohnston05 – is not his.

Johnston’s lawyer says they are dealing with Twitter first, then they’ll be having words with NBC.

Well, real or not, we still think Shatner skit was awesome anyway.

Levi’s gonna bring his mom and his sister to tell it all to Ty-Ty Banks Monday, April 6th. He’s going to yap about being thrust into the national spotlight when Sarah Palin joined the presidential race, why he and Bristol Palin got knocked up and other “intimate details.”

Rumors have it that Bristol decided to nix their wedding, and put Levi out. No confirmation that the Palins thought the Johnstons were rednecks, but the buzz is out there. Is it ON? The Tyra Show has a clip of the upcoming episode…

“None of that’s true. We both love each other. We both want to marry each other. And that’s what we are going to do. We were planning on getting married a long time ago with or without the kid. That was the plan from the start.”

Levi and Bristol are planning to get married this summer, and their baby is due December 18th. Levi hints that the baby’s a boy, and that he is looking forward to teaching him how to hunt and fish. Levi says “he’ll be everywhere with me.” Levi also says that his infamous Myspace page, which said he was a “redneck who didn’t want kids”, was a joke created by his friends a few years ago.

The 18-year-old hottie has dropped out of high school to take a job on Alaska’s North Slope oil fields as an apprentice electrician. “It’s going to be a lot of hard work, but we can handle it. We’re up for it. I’m excited to have my first kid!” Snark Food says good for Levi and Bristol for not taking the easy way out. We wish them ALL the best!

Levi says he doesn’t know much about Barack Obama, but that he “seems like a nice guy.” He’s rooting hard for Sarah Palin and John McCain, of course. “I just hope she wins,” he told the AP. “She’s my future mother-in-law. She better win.”

Give yourself a break and hop onto a cause with some meat in it. And I mean a HUNK of meat. Specifically, the hunk of meat named Levi Johnston, former happy-go-lucky Alaskan redneck, literally plucked out of obscurity into the limelight of Election 2008. All for knocking up Bristol Palin. Cheezus.

“The National Enquirer’s coverage of a vicious war within Sarah Palin’s extended family includes several newsworthy revelations, including the resulting incredible charge of an affair plus details of family strife when the Governor’s daughter revealed her pregnancy. Following our John Edwards’ exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign’s vetting process. Despite the McCain camp’s attempts to control press coverage they find unfavorable, The Enquirer will continue to pursue news on both sides of the political spectrum.”

The tabloid seems to be going full force into political expose, after being emboldened by the final fall of John Edwards. McCain is livid, and after four other magazines hit the stands today with Palin on the cover, he’s had enough. McCain has now threatened to sue the National Enquirer.
The campaign had this to say:

“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt. “The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it.”

The whole thing is a freakin’ feeding frenzy, and unless the Enquirer has some ironclad evidence, they’re gonna burn through any credibility they earned by outing John Edwards in his extramarital affair. The Palin family has been through a trial by fire this week, and Snarkista thinks that Ms. Tougher In Alaska is NOT gonna forget who was throwing chum at the sharks. Maybe give it a rest for a few days? Before some fool prints that Palin’s a guy? Geez.
