Lily Allen’s dad makes conspiracy film

It’s been nearly fifteen years since Princess Diana died in a car wreck in Paris, but some conspiracy theorists aren’t willing to let it go just yet. Â Keith Allen, father of pop singer Lily Allen, has made a documentary about Diana, and he claims that there is footage in the film proving that Diana knew there were people out to harm her physically, and in some particularly chilling audio footage, Diana tells a friend that her only hobby is keeping alive.

The film has been banned in the UK, but the French are willing to give it a shot – it’s going to debut at Cannes later this month.

Lily Allen back in the hospital

Things are really not going very well for songstress Lily Allen. Â Just a few days after tragically losing her baby in a late-stage miscarriage, Allen is now back in the hospital being treated for septicemia, a potentially life-threatening blood infection. Â She is currently being given antibiotics in order to try to get rid of the bacteria.

Septicemia happens sometimes after a miscarriage of if there is any leftover tissue in the womb that becomes infected. Â Luckily Allen was taken to the hospital quickly, and apparently her prognosis is good. Â She should be home within a week or two, and then sadly she’ll be left to pick up where she left off with her grieving process.

Lily Allen loses her baby

Tragedy has befallen singer Lily Allen and her partner Sam Cooper. Â Allen, who was six months pregnant with Cooper’s baby, suffered a miscarriage over the weekend and is still in the hospital for observation. This is especially sad news for Allen, as she had already had one miscarriage in 2008, and since she was so far along in this pregnancy, she was highly optimistic about carrying the baby to term.

The couple are obviously deeply saddened by the loss, and the publicist who made the announcement simply said that they were asking for privacy from the press so that they could come to terms with the loss without being hounded by reporters. Â Lily has always seemed like a really sweet and genuine girl, and it’s very sad to hear about this happening to her again.

Lily Allen Pregnant with Boyfriend Sam Cooper’s Baby

Lilly Allen is pregnant with her first child, a rep for the British singer confirmed in a press statement on Thursday. Allen, 25, and boyfriend Sam Cooper, 32, have been dating for just over a year. Allen has called Cooper –Â a “normal bloke” who owns a building company –Â “the love of my life.”

“Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child,” her rep said in a press statement. The British songstress is reportedly three months along. Â “Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at Big Chill this weekend.”

Allen previously announced she was pregnant in December, 2007 with the child of Chemical Brothers‘ Ed Simons. Sadly she suffered a miscarriage just a month later.

“It goes without saying we are both absolutely delighted,” Allen told The Sun about the new baby on the way.

Lily Allen Quits Twitter for Boyfriend Sam Cooper?

Singer Lily Allen has reportedly decided to dump Twitter for good, allegedly for the same reason Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account – her boyfriend. Rumor has it Allen’s boyfriend Sam Cooper had enough of her Twitter postings and allegedly told her to choose between her Tweets and his affection.

Sound familiar? Miley Cyrus recently shocked fans by vanishing from Twitter, allegedly because her rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth didn’t want her to keep using the social networking service.

Lily Allen followed in Cryus’ footsteps this week by ceasing to post on her own Twitter account – although she did not take Cyrus’ radical move yet to entirely delete it. Allen’s last post was on September 28th, saying “I am a neo-luddite, goodbye.” Neo-luddism is a philosophical term for those who believe the continued advance of technology is not necessarily beneficial to the human race.

Not only has she broken up with Twitter, Lily Allen has also reportedly dumped her MySpace account and even her email! Supposedly, the singer has gone so far as to give away her computer, Macbook and BlackBerry to avoid temptation. Allen currently has over 1.5 million followers on Twitter and over 421,000 MySpace fans.

We’re not sure if the rumor Allen gave up Twitter for her boyfriend is true, regardless of what Perez and others say. Allen was obviously getting a bit sick of the whole Internet mob mentality. Only a few weeks ago, she shut down her http://idontwanttochangetheworld.blogspot.com/ blog because she said “the abuse was getting too much.”

Regardless, it’s interesting to watch celebrities suddenly realizing that having every bit of your life instantly accessible to your fans is not always a good thing for you or your relationships. More ‘normal’ people could learn from that lesson.

Goofwad Katy Perry has called off her catfight with Lily Allen. Katy says that when she called herself “a skinnier version of Allen”, she was just joking! Lily was not amused by upstart Katy’s comments, and said Monday that:

“I happen to know for a fact that she was an American version of me. She was signed by my label in America as, ‘We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen.’

“And then they found herâ€¦ I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crassâ€¦ When I met her I was bit frosty with her because someone asked her to describe herself. She’s like, ‘Aha, I’m like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!’ It’s like, you’re not English and you don’t write your own songs, shut up!”

Lily’s a bit testy these days because she’s always getting sloshed in public and making an ass of herself. Besides, Katy says “I didn’t mean anything by it. Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously.” At least she’s admitted what she REALLY is! Not that the cupcake outfits and slip-n-slides on stage didn’t already give us a clue.
