Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab Early: Will It Work This Time?

Lindsay Lohan has left rehab after only 23 days of treatment. The troubled starlet was originally sentenced to serve 90 days at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, but doctors at the rehab clinic believed Lohan was ready for early release.

Actress Lindsay Lohan went immediately into rehab on August 2 after a two week stay in jail for violating her probation from a DUI case in 2007. An unidentified source told People magazine that Lohan was “out and doing really well.”

According to doctors at the rehab facility, they believe Lohan does not suffer from ADHD or bipolar disorder, as had been earlier reported. They also believe improperly prescribed ADHD drug Adderall may have been partially to blame for her erratic behavior.

Lohan will reportedly be continuing treatment with UCLA’s outpatient program. She will also be required by the judge in her case to undergo random drug testing and attend a 12-step program. The actress has previously spent time in rehab at the Wonderland Center, Promises Treatment Center and the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. We can only hope this time around will be her last.

Lindsay Lohan Released from Jail: Headed to Rehab

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan was released from jail on Monday after serving 14 days behind bars. Lohan was freed from the Lynwood Correctional Facility around 1:35 AM, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Lindsay Lohan will now be headed off to rehab at the UCLA Medical Center to undergo treatment for psychological and addiction problems. La Lush Lohan will be spending 90 days in the court ordered rehab program. Rumor has it she will be treated for meth and alcohol addiction, as well as bipolar disorder.

Lindsay Lohan Ankle Bracelet Goes Off at MTV Movie Awards Party

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan‘s alcohol monitoring bracelet reportedly went off at a MTV Movie Awards party on Sunday. Lohan was attending pop singer Katy Perry‘s MTV Movie Awards after party when her SCRAM bracelet began flashing wildly.

“All of a sudden, her ankle bracelet started flashing furiously – bright red, fast flashes,” an unidentified source reportedly told Star magazine.

The ankle bracelet is supposed to alert if Lindsay Lohan consumes alcohol. Lohan was ordered to wear the bracelet last month after missing probation hearings over several DUI incidents. Even though the bracelet went off, however, it doesn’t necessarily mean Lohan was drinking.

“She wasn’t drinking or doing drugs that I saw,” the source told Star. A technician reportedly told the tabloid that the ankle bracelet could have gone off due to a “technical issue.”

We do hope it was just a glitch and Lohan wasn’t stupid enough to violate a court order she knows could land her in jail. Lohan is due in court again on July 6; let’s hope she can keep it clean at least until then!

Lindsay Lohan‘s ankle bracelet may be embarrassing for the struggling starlet, but the alcohol monitoring device may just be the best thing for her. The SCRAMx bracelet will check Lohan’s body every 30 minutes for traces of alcohol. If Lindsay Lohan doesn’t keep away from the liquor, she could end up in jail. We can only hope Lohan will take this as an opportunity to get back on the path to being clean and sober for good.

Lindsay Lohan’s ankle bracelet is part of a deal to keep the actress out of jail after missing a mandatory court appearance because she was allegedly trapped in Europe after losing her passport. (Yeah, we still donâ€™t believe that one.)

Lohan has to wear the alcohol monitoring device at all times until at least her next court date on July 6th. She was also specifically ordered to refrain from drinking or doing drugs and will be forced to undergo random drug testing. Even under the threat of jail time, however, we wonder if Lohan can really keep herself from falling off the wagon yet again.

Although Lohan may protest that she’s doing just fine, it seems she is pretty much the only person in the world who thinks so. How many more reports of ridiculous behavior, accusations of criminal activity or photos of Lohan falling on her ass outside of nightclubs do we have to have before she realizes she has a serious problem?

Please Lindsay, get a clue and get the help you need. We don’t need to see any more young Hollywood stars landing themselves in an early grave.

Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Undergo Random Drug Testing

Lindsay Lohan finally showed up in court today to a cold welcome from Beverly Hills Judge Marsha Revel. Lohan was ordered to refrain from drinking or doing drugs and if she violates the conditions of her probation, she will likely end up behind bars.

Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lindsay Lohan to wear an alcohol detection device called a SCRAM and undergo random drug testing as a condition of keeping her freedom. Lohan has been ordered to begin wearing the SCRAM bracelet (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) within 24 hours. She will also be required to attend alcohol education classes at least once a week.

Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, objected to the conditions placed on his client, saying they would interfere with her upcoming filming schedule. In response, the judge said she would be happy to read out a nice, long list of why the restrictions were more than appropriate. After that, Lohan’s lawyer pretty much STFU and accepted the conditions, which was probably a very smart idea.

Lohan is due back in court on July 6th, unless she violates the conditions the judge has laid down for her. If she does, she could find herself spending a nice stretch in jail.
