Lindsay Lohan, 25, will be returning to court on Wednesday for a probation progress hearing for her theft case. According to RadarOnline.com, Lohan has been living up to the requirements set by the judge in her cast at her last court date. A source reports that the troubled starlet has “made scheduled meetings with her probation officer, has completed her court ordered community service requirement of 12 days by the progress report hearing, and attended all her psychological counseling sessions.”

The current legal woes for Lohan originally stem from a 2007 DUI case. The actress violated her probation in that case when she entered a plea of no contest in 2011 to a misdemeanor theft charge involving a $2,500 necklace she allegedly shoplifted.

Lohan’s representative released a press statement saying that the newly minted Playboy model is “diligently completing her community service.” Lohan was ordered to complete 480 hours of service work at the Los Angeles County morgue after previously shirking her required hours at the Downtown Women’s Center. That violation landed her a 30 day sentence for not fulfilling the terms of her probation. Due to jail overcrowding, Lohan only actually spent 4 1/2 hours in jail.

Now Lohan is reportedly taking her probation requirements much more seriously, with the oversight of a strict new probation officer. “Judge Sautner gave Lindsay a new probation officer at her last court appearance. Her new probation officer is absolutely no nonsense, and she has seen it all. Lindsay has been a model probationer so far,” a source close to the actress told RadarOnline.com.

Lohan may be a model probationer, but critics are not so pleased with her modeling gig in the most recent issue of Playboy magazine. The spread (Lindsay Lohan leaked photos) was supposed to be a nod to the classic sensuality of Marilyn Monroe, but she mostly comes across as a cheap knockoff according to a number of reviews. Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor even went so far as to say Lindsay Lohan looked like a “series of toll booths” in her Playboy spread. Ouch!

We have to question if even Lindsay Lohan is actually stupid enough to carry around $10,000 in cold, hard cash in her purse. Not only that, but you allegedly have this huge wad of dough in your purse and then leave it in your car while go you to a party. Does this sound completely insane to anyone else?

Lindsay Lohan’s purse, a $5,000 Chanel, was allegedly returned by an unidentified local the next day, along with her documents. Mysteriously, however, the $10,000 in cash was gone. Even more strangely, Lohan allegedly didn’t bother to question the random local who returned the purse about how it was recovered. We can just hear Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler on Saturday Night Live asking: Really???

In an audio tape acquired by TMZ.com, Lindsay Lohan says that her car was locked but doesn’t have an alarm. However, there are no details about how the alleged thief managed to break into her locked car. Like reports of a busted out window, a picked lock, etc. etc. Lohan does whine that she needed the papers in the purse for her next court date and says she “will f—ing kill someone if I even have to get questioned in jail for a year.”

We have heavy doubts even billionaire Bill Gates would leave a bag with $10,000 in cash just laying around in his car. Or not even take the trouble to question the random person who just shows up with it the next day. Either Lindsay Lohan is coasting along on even less braincells than we thought or there is more to this story than the troubled startlet cares to tell…

So far Lindsay Lohan’s reps are keeping their lips sealed about any Playboy deal, but Access Hollywood says a source reports it is a done deal. “I can neither confirm or deny at this time,” Lohan’s rep said. Playboy has also not responded to questions about the deal.

Playboy allegedly offered Lohan $750,000 to do the shoot originally, but the actress reportedly wanted at least a million. In the end, Hugh Hefner allegedly coughed up more cash to land Lohan, although it was not quite what she was asking for, according to TMZ.

The Lindsay Lohan Playboy photo shoot will reportedly take place in a Beverly Hills mansion. We’re sure that will be a nice change for Lohan after scrubbing toilets and washing soiled linens at the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office as part of her community service.

Lohan has been ordered to spend 16 hours in community service at the L. A. county morgue before her next court date on Nov after a judge ruled she violated her probation.

Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, however, says she has nothing to do with any theft. “The allegations are completely untrue,” Shawn Chapman Holley said in a press statement. No arrests or official charges have been made so far in regard to the alleged theft.

This isn’t the first time Lindsay Lohan has been linked to mysteriously disappearing high-priced items. Last year, Lohan was questioned by Scotland Yard after $400,000 of jewelry vanished following an Elle magazine photo shoot in London. The missing diamond necklace and earrings were never found and the case remains unsolved.

Lohan was also accused in 2008 of stealing a mink coat from Columbia University co-ed Maria Markova at a nightclub. Markova claimed her $11,000 fur coat went missing from the 10ak nightclub during a private party and she later spotted the actress wearing what seemed to be her jacket. The coat was later returned without explanation and the case against Lohan settled for an undisclosed amount.

An unidentified ‘source’ reportedly told RadarOnline.com that Lindsay Lohan currently owes over $600,000 in credit card debt. “One card cut her off last week and it’s only a matter of time before all her other credit cards cut her off too,” the source allegedly said. “One credit card company is going to discuss a payment plan for Lindsay… But if she doesn’t have the income and can’t make her payments, they are prepared to sue her.”

Lohan hasn’t been doing very well at earning an income lately. Her last film, Labor Pains, was pretty much a straight-to-DVD bomb and acting roles for the young drama queen are few and far between. Lohan doesn’t seem to have any trouble partying her ass off lately, but she’s no longer commanding the hefty appearance fees she used to garner from popping up at various nightclubs.

It wasn’t very long ago that Lohan’s landlord had to resort to threatening her with legal action to collect $23,000 in back rent she owed on her rental home. The Lindsanity just never seems to end, does it?

Lohan flew from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Saturday on the private plane of the producer of Mel B. and Kelly Monaco’s “Peepshow” to attend the grand opening of the sexy striptease production, but made the trip more importantly because she had a meeting scheduled with director and Broadway big-wig, Jerry Mitchell.

“Peepshow” is designed to have rotating leads and according to very close inside sources, Lohan is in official negotiations to take over from Monaco who wants to move on and get back to work on “General Hospital,” however Mel B. reportedly intends to stay on once her three-month contract is finished.

She even gushed to Mel B about how much she loved the provocative production and how much she trusts Mitchell to direct her in an on-stage striptease.

“If they make me an offer, and the money’s right, I’ll do it,” Lohan reportedly said.
