Appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman Wednesday, pop icon Madonna said she’d rather “get run over by a train” than get married again. Madonna has already been married twice to actor Sean Penn and filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
When asked by David Letterman if she’d ever be willing to marry a third time, Madonna emphatically stated being mangled by a train would be a more enjoyable experience. However, Madonna said she wouldn’t deny the possibility of falling in love and spending her life with someone – outside of marriage, that is. Somehow, we’re doubting she’s referring to her current 22-year-old boy-toy Jesus Luz.
Letterman joked with Madonna about her rumored romantic link to New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and her seeming penchant for dating athletes after being carried to the stage by members of the New York Rangers hockey team. “Have you ever ridden hockey players before?” Letterman jibbed. “No, that’s the one sport I haven’t investigated,” Madonna shot back.
