‘Posh’ Victoria Beckham appeared on The View as a guest last September and recently served as a guest judge on American Idol. We can’t wait to see what Beckham has to say, she was quite entertaining in her American Idol appearance, even taking Simon Cowell to task a few times!

Meghan McCain, daughter of former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, will also be appearing as a guest host on The View on Feb. 4. More guest hosts will be announced for the show over the next few weeks.

The Megan McCain Twitter photo quickly made the rounds on the Net and launched a wave of criticism against the former presidential candidate’s daughter. Megan McCain was crushed by the response to what she considered just having a bit of fun.

“So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut,” McCain wrote. “What once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment… when I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a ‘slut’, I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.”

Still, McCain apologized to anyone who took the tank top photo the wrong way. “I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.”

There is a reason why the word “twit” is in both Twitter and Twitpic…

Meghan seems to be liking the celeb spotlight, and Snarkista thinks Spencer’s convinced her all press is good press. Heidi and Spencer sure are riding THAT train as long as possible, despite subjecting us to horrifically ghastly “music” and “fashion” from Heidi. (Snarkista’s giving you fair warning if you click the music and fashion links…especially the music. Have the duct tape ready in case your head explodes.)

Ah, anything for the spotlight. Meghan was spotted getting her hair done by Matthew Shields last month at hair salon ‘John Frieda’ on Melrose Place, which services such stars as Kate Hudson and Jane Fonda. She’s been hanging onto Heidi like a tick on a dog.

While Senator John McCain has pointed his finger at Barack Obama for being a celebrity similar to Britney or Paris, (whose strike-back video left John’s in the dust) Meghan’s been trying her hardest to become one. Maybe she should shave her head! Barack should make a celeb ad linking McCain to Heidi and Spencer. Holy crap, his numbers would go through the roof. John! Wake up and lock up Meghan before she starts doing staged photo ops dressed like an effin’ Easter Bunny!

Heidi was lunching with Meghan yesterday, and the effin’ famewhore says she’s hoping to hit the road to do some stumpin’ for McCain! Montard told E!-

We’ll see, We’re just so busy, so we’re trying to figure out our schedules.

Snarkista expects the “we” is Heidi and Spencer, not the royal “we”, OR Heidi is insufferably talking about herself in the third person. Which is entirely possible.

Heidi says she and Meghan have become “good friends” since first meeting less than three months ago at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. Who in the hell invited Heidi to THAT event? Guess somebody bailed at the last minute.

Heidi and Meghan don’t talk about world peace, or oil prices or other stuff that hurts their brains. They talk about fashion, specifically Heidi’s “fashion”. “A lot of fashion, actually,” says Montag. “We talked about my clothing line, and she was asking where to get it.” Wow, THAT conversation was short. But that’s all the programming Heidibot has right now. Fashion and Spencer and photo-ops. Meghan was probably trying to find out how to AVOID Heidi’s heinouswear.

Everyone knows McCain has a big youth problem, and is trying to figure out how in the HELL he’s gonna get anyone under 30 to vote for him. John, honey, this is NOT the way. Run, run, run away from the douche-duo. They will absolutely make the problem worse. If Meghan has to have lunch with Heidi, make her do it locked in her room. Trust Snarkista.
