Miley Cyrus is denying she locked lips with a female backup dancer during a performance on Britain’s Got Talent. While doing her new single, “Can’t Be Tamed,” Cyrus appeared to share a lesbian kiss with the dancer on stage. Cyrus says it never happened.
“I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can’t even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,” Miley Cyrus said in a ranting post on her website. “I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong.”
Well, personally, we wouldn’t think you had done anything “wrong” if you had kissed the girl – only that it was a really lame publicity stunt. Actually, whether lips touched or not, the whole bit was still pretty much a lame publicity stunt anyway.Â
To reinforce her claim that she did not lock lips with that woman, Cyrus launched into all caps on her website to get her point across clearly.
“GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD. Let’s start focusing a little less on making up ignorant rumors and focus a little more on world peace! We gotta a lot of work to do if we want this earth to be here much longer. Let’s make a change! It wouldn’t hurt the world to show a little more love. X M”
