Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are officially engaged, a rep for the Pirates of the Caribbean actor confirmed on Monday. Bloom and Kerr have been dating for three years. Rumors the two are engaged have cropped up before, but this time reps for both have officially confirmed the news.
Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom and Australian model Miranda Kerr began dating in 2008. No word yet on when the wedding will take place. As for what comes after the vows are exchanged, we already know Kerr is hoping for the patter of little feet around the house sometime in the future.
“I’ve always wanted kids, so… someday… eventually, yes, it will happen,” Kerr told Page Six Magazine in 2008.
The model’s rep told People the “entire Kerr family is thrilled with the news” and the couple’s engagement. “It is a very exciting time for both of them.”
