The first official Moonrise Kingtom trailer video has been released for the upcoming 2012 film directed by Wes Anderson. Written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, Moonrise Kingdom stars a host of luminary actors in a story about a young girl and boy in love who run away from home.
 
Set in the 1960s, the Moonrise Kingdom trailer gives us a glimpse into the tale of two 12-year-old kids (Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward) who fall in love and make a secret pact to run away together into the wilderness. The disappearance of the kids results in the launch of a local search party to find them.
