Get your Christian-Bale-As-Batman fix now, because it may be your last chance. Bale alluded to the fact that his third time as Gotham’s caped crusader – in The Dark Knight Rises – may be his last time. During an interview he said:
“I wrapped a few days ago, so that will be the last time I’m taking that cowl off … that will be the end of that Batman era.”
And this isn’t the first time he’s indicated that he’s run his course as Batman. He also told E! that unless director Christopher Nolan says differently, this would be the last time he played the role.
Joining Bale in “The Dark Knight Rises” are Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway, as Catwoman.
