In an effort to help basketball keep up with the homophobic standard set by pro wrestling, Kobe Bryant did his part this week by calling an NBA ref by two consecutive F words (you can guess which two). Â Unfortunately for Bryant, the television cameras were on him at the time, and the whole nation saw what he said.
Naturally, people are upset by the outburst, and a representative from the Human Rights Campaign pointed out that Bryant, as a minority, should be particularly sensitive about not perpetuating a culture of discrimination, and that he should be helping to promote harmony instead. Â Yeah, good luck getting that message across to him.
