The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear a suit from a man named Jason Presley who claims to be the first-born son of Elvis Presley. Presley has launched a series of lawsuits seeking rights to the entire estate of the late Elvis Presley.
Jason Presley, also known as Ernest Young, petitioned the Supreme Court to review his case against Elvis Presley’s estate. In addition to claiming he is Elvis Presley’s biological son, Jason Presley also alleges the legendary singer was murdered. In the first day of the U.S. Supreme Court’s new session on Monday, justices refused to consider hearing the suit.
Jason Peter Presley has asked for a DNA test to prove he is the son of Elvis Presley and thus eligible to receive part of his alleged late father’s estate. Presley claims his mother, Patricia Parker, had a one-night stand with Elvis Presley in 1969.
“I look a lot like him. I’ve got his hair, his hairline, his eyes. I’m willing to do whatever I’ve got to do,” Presley said in 2002, according to the New York Daily News.
Presley certainly has been persistent. He was arrested in Utah in 2006 after allegedly harassing judges who refused to hear his suit with threatening phone calls.
