Pregnant Kate Middleton has finally given birth and a new baby boy has been added to the royal family! Prince William and Kate Middleton rushed to St. Mary’s hospital in London on Monday morning after the Duchess of Cambridge went into labor.
After what was described by a royal spokesperson as a ‘normal progression of labor,’ Kate Middleton gave birth to a new British prince at 4:24 p.m. local London time.
The royal palace issues a press statement this afternoon releasing the barest details of the royal baby’s birth. “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4:24 p.m.,” the statement said. “The baby weighs 8lbs 6oz.”
Pregnant Kate Middleton was rushed off to St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday morning to give birth to the newest heir to the British throne. Due to a new change in the royal rules of succession, it didn’t matter whether the Kate Middleton baby was a boy or a girl — either one would qualify to be the third in line to the British throne.
The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly went into labor in the early hours of the morning on July 22, 2013. Accompanied by her husband, Prince William, pregnant Kate Middleton was quickly bustled off to St. Mary’s in London to prepare for the coming of the couple’s first royal baby.
There had been some concerns that Prince William might be late to the birth because of his duties as a Royal Air Force helicopter rescue pilot. Luckily, however, everything worked out perfectly for Prince William and wife Kate Middleton — who were finally married in 2011 — and he was by her side as she entered the hospital.
Looks like those Kate Middleton pregnant rumors are flaring up again, thanks to an alleged ‘inside source’ who claims she is the future Queen of England’s “oldest friend”. The Kate Middleton pregnant rumor has cropped up so often since she married Prince William that when she actually is knocked up, no one will probably believe it until she actually pops out a baby on live TV or something.
The source of the Kate Middleton pregnant rumor this time is a woman named Jessica Hay, who claims she is a close friend of the royal couple. Jessica Hay told the Australian tabloid New Idea that Kate Middleton is pregnant for real this time and the announcement will probably happen very soon.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, girlfriend and possible future queen, are apparently cousins! Granted, the relationship is very, very distant, but it turns out the two lovebirds are actually related, weirdly enough.
Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly share a much-reviled ancestor by the name of Sir Thomas Leighton. Leighton was allegedly governor of Guernsey in the 17th century and a horrible murdering tyrant. According to the Daily Mail, Leighton is Prince William’s 12th generation great-grandfather and Kate Middleton’s 11th generation great-grandfather. That supposedly makes them 12th cousins, once removed.
We doubt anyone will really care a bit that the two share a distant ancestor. After all, back in the day the royal throne was occupied by the offspring of all kinds of incestuous relationships.
We’re sure plenty of folks on the planet are probably married to some kind of cousin and don’t know it. They just don’t have people trolling through their genealogy to find the least little connection they can dig up!
Although, if you look closely, the two do rather kind of look alike a bit… especially in the nose and cheekbones. Hmmmmm.
