Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star Kim Richards Rehab Woes

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has checked into rehab at an undisclosed location, sources are reporting. The former Disney child star was wasted in the first season finale of Real Housewives, during which her sister Kyle Richards called her an alcoholic.

In the second season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim Richards has continued to display rather crazed behavior. Although Richards reportedly entered rehab once before back in mid-2010, she checked herself out only a week later.

During one episode of Real Housewives in October, cast-mate Brandi Glanville accused Kim Richards, who was slurring her speech during a game night, of being high on crystal meth and “wasted out of her f—ing mind.”

Richards said on the show in November that her slurred speech and droopy eyes are actually the result of prescribed medications, including anti-anxiety drug Lexapro, anti-depressant Trazadone and anti-seizure and alcoholism treatment drug Topamax.

Multiple sources have reportedly confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Kim Richards has returned to rehab to curb her drinking problem. We’re sure her friends and family will be hoping this time she’ll stay longer than a week.

Bravo has so far not commented on the report that Richards has checked into rehab. Richards’ reps are also keeping silent so far.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Taylor Armstrong Husband Dead of Suicide

Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, was found dead Monday night of an apparent suicide. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Taylor Armstrong’s husband died as a result of hanging, but no suicide note has been found.

Russell Armstrong, 47, was an investment banker and venture capitalist. He was reportedly found dead at a home on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills at 8:16PM on Monday after a roommate found him and called 911. Los Angeles County Coroner’s spokesman Ed Winter said the death appears to have been a suicide. An autopsy and toxicology tests are currently pending.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong filed for divorce from Russell Armstrong last month. She claimed that her estranged husband had physically abused her. Authorities reportedly informed her of Russell Armstrong’s death last night. Taylor and Russell Armstong have one child together, a five-year-old daughter.

Taylor and Russell Armstrong had recently been the subject of a $1.5 million lawsuit by a company claiming the pair illegally took money from investors to support their lush lifestyle. The couple reportedly suffered from other financial woes as well. Russell reportedly was in debt for over $1 million and filed for bankruptcy in 2005.

Bravo, which airs Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, released a statement on Tuesday saying: “All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time.”

Kelsey Grammer pushing for his own reality show

Actor Kelsey Grammer seems to have caught the reality bug after appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and now he’s decided he wants his own reality show.  He has already teamed up with a well-established group of producers and promoters to develop a series of reality shows that could be syndicated worldwide.

Everyone involved is said to be excited about the collaboration. Zodiak USA is going to be responsible for producing the shows, and since they’ve been responsible for no fewer than ten other mainstream reality series, this one is probably going to be a big deal.  Let’s just hope Kelsey’s life is actually interesting enough to warrant following him around.
