“I’m almost done with The Hills. We’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving them,” Patridge said in a press statement while promoting her new movie, Sorority Row.

The 24-year-old reality TV star hopes to return to her original dream of becoming a film actress after she departs The Hills. “I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings and working full-time at Quixote Studios and Smashbox.”

If her performance in Sorority Row is any indication of her movie acting skills, we think perhaps leaving a hit show like The Hills isn’t necessarily the best career move…

The new season of The Hills premieres on Sept 29.

Octomom Nadia Suleman on the "Today Show"

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles on Friday, each of Suleman’s 14 children will earn $250 a day to star in the new reality show set to begin taping in September. The show will be produced by Eyeworks, the company behind The Biggest Loser and Breaking Bonaduce. Octomom’s kids will be subjected to approximately 36 days of shooting during the first year and receive around $125,000 for having their private lives splashed across national television. Fifteen percent of the children’s earnings will go into a trust they can access when they turn 18, as required by California law. Which means mom Nadya Suleman will at least only be able to piss away 85 percent of the money she earns by depriving her kids of a real childhood.

Back in April, Nadya Suleman’s lawyer told UsMagazine.com that the Octomom was interested in taping a “not so intrusive” television series to “make a little income for herself.” Considering that Suleman has spent most of her life popping out babies in some obsessive narcissistic need to populate the world with her questionable genetics, it’s not like she has much else in the way of marketable skills.

Way back before the in vitro fertilization baby horde began, Suleman worked as a psychiatric technician, though most of her time was spent filing worker’s compensation claims against the hospital – for a whopping total of about $167,000 in benefits. She did manage to acquire a Bachelor of Science in 2006, but dropped out of a master’s degree program in 2008. Suleman also worked as a stripper in the past, though she prefers to avoid that particular discussion topic. In short, Suleman has basically succeeded never having a real job for the vast majority of her life.

Once Suleman squirted out 8 kids in one go, however, she had a great new excuse not to have to work for a living. Fame. Suleman has spent most of her time since the birth of her octuplets trying to figure out the best ways she can cash in on her dubious celebrity status in an effort to continue avoiding becoming a responsible, hard-working adult. Suleman, of course, claims she is “not capitalizing” on her kids. “I’m using every resource I can secure to provide for my children,” the Octomom told UsMagazine.com. “What else am I gonna’ do?”

We have a suggestion, Nadya. Let your children grow up in the peace and anonymity any child should have the right to enjoy and get a real f*cking job.

Shocking reports today that lovable American Idol judge Paula Abdul may not return to the show for next season. Is there a catfight going on between Paula and newbie judge Kara Dioguardi?? The L.A. Times reports that David Sonenberg, Abdul’s manager, told them this about Paula’s contract negotiations.

Sonenberg said American Idol production companies FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment haven’t presented him with a proposed contract yet. He says the “rude producers” are behind this shizz.

“I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful,” Sonenberg said of the contract holdup. “I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven’t stepped up and said what they want to do.”

Don’t fire Paula!! The show won’t be the same without her unicorns and rainbows! Who will slur their words and be more entertaining than the contestants??? 19E, you’re making a BIG mistake.

“I’m still trying to figure out, was the weatherman asking us questions? I thought we were getting interviewed by Matt Lauer or something,” said Pratt of Roker who reports weather for the Today Show.

As for Heidi, she is incredibly distressed over the whole shebang, and whined:

“I was shocked at how rude he was – I was crying afterwards because I couldn’t believe I felt personally attacked,” said Montag. “I wanted to say to him, do you feel proud of how you’re talking to me right now? I’m just a young woman and you’re coming at me so aggressively and meanly and mean-spirited.”

“I just wanted to talk about the show and my experience there and how fun it was, and he just made it a very uncomfortable and awful experience,” said Montag. “I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all.”

Complex: …You also said, “I’m like the white Jay-Z.” Would you consider Heidi the white Beyoncé?

Spencer Pratt: A little bit more than the white Beyoncé. Beyoncé had to be built by a group like Destiny’s Child, but Heidi shines solo. I’ll actually give you an exclusive: I could guarantee you Speidi’s [Spencer and Heidi's] “Bonnie & Clyde” version is going to stunt on Jay and B’s version.

Complex: Wow. Is that song going to happen?

Spencer Pratt: Yes. Steve Morales is already working on the track. That’s my Puerto Rican guru on the beat.

Complex: I saw that you’re trying to reach out to OJ Da Juiceman for him to get a verse on a Morales-produced track.

Spencer Pratt: Yeah, I’m trying to get him on my first real single because “I’m A Celebrity” is not my single. That’s just my marketing tool for the show. My first single, I just want to have me, Gucci Mane, and OJ Da Juiceman. It’ll be the flyest song in the game. I’m going to track them down, that’s my priority today.

Complex: Who’s rapping career would you use as a blueprint for yourself?

Spencer Pratt: I think I’m the future of hip-hop. You know, I feel bad for saying that. That’s unfortunate, but that’s a fact. You can’t compare my model of hip-hop with what I’m about to come out with versus anything in the game. You know I’ll take the Diddy route. I’m not a lyrical MC, I’m just like Diddy. Look what it did for him? He is still balling.

Celebrity mentor Slash didn’t have to work too hard on these two. They’re taking Idol to a whole other level!

E! reports that the Hills duo were joined at Westminster Presbyterian Church, attended by over 200 of their closest friends, family, and lots of their best celeb pals, including the insufferable Perez Hilton, music producer David Foster, along with Hills costars Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, Taylor Mosher, Audrina Patridge, Justin Bobby, Lo Bosworth and Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavallari. Even frenemy Lauren Conrad had a change of heart and attended the festivities, but made a quick exit from the church following the ceremony.

The wedding party was comprised of Heidi’s sister and sometimes Hills star Holly Montag, as well as Spencer’s always-instigating sis, Stephanie Pratt, both dressed in matching floor-length, yellow, silk chiffon gowns, while the Spencer was joined by the incredible…two nonceleb friends.

Montard was decked out head to toe in nearly $1 million worth of Neil Lane jewels and a gorgeous, flowy, white, strapless gown, custom designed by Monique Lhuiller. Pratt and his groomsmen all wore Ermenegildo Zegna suits. Heidi’s father walked her down the aisle following Pratt’s niece Ava, the flower girl.

Afterward guests gathered outside Westminster Presbyterian to toss yellow rose petals on the newlyweds, who did what always comes naturally to Speidi- playing it up and kissing for the crowd. Heidi then gathered her girlfriends to toss the bouquet, only to have Cavallari, rumored to be replacing Lauren Conrad on The Hills next season, jump up and make the catch.

The office pool is now open on how long this one’s gonna last, and, more importantly…how many staged photo-ops will be raining down on the media from the wedding! Good times.

Her top seemed to have a mind of it’s own at the end of a jive with partner Derek Hough last night. Host Tom Bergeron provided cover while the rapper adjusted as she and Hough approached the judges table.

Lil’ Kim told KABC-TV after the show: “I don’t know why this happens a lot of the time, but … the girls were tryin’ to come out.”

The nearly X-rated moment was edited out by the time the show was rebroadcast on the West Coast, where no one would have really cared. The oops moment didn’t seem to bother the judges: Lil’ Kim and Hough had the night’s best score: 28 out of a possible 30 for their spirited dance. Hopefully “the girls” will be a little less spirited next week!

“The professional dancers are getting more and more competitive amongst themselves, and they are pushing their celebrities very hard. The professionals’ reputations are at stake, and they want to win the title just as bad if not worse than the celebs because that is what they do for a living. I also think that the celebrities are pushing themselves harder.

“The first season, no one really knew what to expect or what it would take or how hard we would judge them. They know that if they do well on the show their careers can take off. It can really help on a business level. Look at Mario Lopez — and he didn’t even win. It is a great stage for America to get to know them for who they are now, and it can be rejuvenating. Plus, they get bragging rights if they win. And a lot of them use it to get in shape. Anyway, I think they start to put in more energy, practice longer, and take bigger risks in the routines, so someone is bound to get hurt. Or a few people as the case has been. But I think they see it as worth it. Big rewards.”

Big rewards for the pros, at least! But did it REALLY boost Adam Carolla’s career?

Last night, Adam was safe, and made it into the top 10…which is AWESOME news for the tour. Idol ain’t ever seen anything like Adam, who took Johnny Cash’s iconic “Ring Of Fire”, threw some saffron and sitar on it, and KILLED. He’ll spice up the tour in a desperately needed way.

Johnny Cash would have LOVED Adams twist on “Ring Of Fire”. Simon Cowell is an idiot, as we here in Nashville think Adam’s great, and he’d love it here if he came. Think about it, Adam!
