Lil Wayne got released from prison this morning, after serving eight months of a one-year sentence for gun possession. Â Twitter has been a-flutter this morning with Wayne’s friends and entourage tweeting their excitement about the release, and planning for the future. Â Apparently the first plan is an official homecoming party, to be hosted Sunday at a stripper club somewhere in Miami.
There’s a lot of speculation about who’s going to be at that party, and even more speculation about how Lil Wayne might make his return to the stage. Â There are rumors flying that he’s planning on stopping by Las Vegas for a surprise appearance during Drake’s scheduled concert on Saturday night, and Drake has hinted that the Saturday show will be a very special one, so there may be some truth to that.
