It’s no secret that celebrities (or in this case, has-beens) act extra crazy when they get caught drunk driving, but ex-pop-star Rick Springfield took it to the next level when he threatened to end the lives of a deputy sheriff and his entire family.  Springfield’s threats did not make it into the arrest report, but Springfield was heard by officers telling the deputy that he would go on a killing spree if they towed his car.
This was glossed over in the official report, as it was decided that Springfield did not mean what he said, and now Springfield’s rep is upset that this information has gotten out into the public, when clearly the police should have kept it under wraps.
