Delusional Rihanna: Chris Brown the Love of My Life

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna confessed on Sunday that she is still in love with Chris Brown, the man that beat the holy hell out of her right before the 2009 Grammy Awards. I can only surmise that Rihanna is fully delusional and needs serious therapy. That girl needs to tape a photo of herself after Chris Brown beat the sh*t out of her to her mirror and stare at it every morning before she contemplates getting anywhere near him again.

I am fully aware that victims of domestic abuse often cannot help but go back to those that have beaten them, even when they might end up getting killed by the person they ‘love’. Something in them believes they are not worth more than being beaten and abused, often because of prior abuse in their lives. They think they deserve to be treated like a punching bag. Often they think it is a form of ‘love’ for a person to hit them, because they ‘need’ to be disciplined for being bad or doing wrong.

Rihanna Speaks About Night Chris Brown Attacked Her

In the second part of her interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Rihanna said she still loves and cares for Chris Brown, despite the abuse she received at his hands.

“I don’t hate him at all,” Rihanna said of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. “I actually love and care about him and I’m concerned about him doing well. I want him to do well â€” have a great career, have a great life, and grow up. Just take this as something that you had to go through to grow up and learn.”

Rihanna said her relationship with Chris Brown verged on “obsession” and the “more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other – equally as dangerous.”

Speaking about the night she was attacked and beaten by Brown, Rihanna said an argument started when she saw a text message on his phone from another woman. Rihanna said she confronted Brown about the message.

“I caught him in a lie and he wouldn’t tell the truth,” she recalls. “I wouldn’t drop it. I couldn’t take that he kept lying to me and he couldn’t take that I wouldn’t drop it, because obviously his back was up against the wall. The truth is right here in the text message. So it escalated into him being violent towards me and it was ugly.”

“All I kept thinking the whole time is ‘When is it going to stop?” Rihanna said. ‘”When is it going to stop?'”

Rihanna on Good Morning America: Going Back to Chris Brown Was Wrong

In an interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, Rihanna said she was wrong to go back to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he abused her. Rihanna also said she was “embarrassing” she fell in love with someone like Brown.

“That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with,” Rihanna said on Good Morning America. “So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened.”

Rihanna said going back to Chris Brown after he beat and bit her the night before the Grammy Awards set a bad example for women who are victims of domestic violence. “When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part… Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls?”

Even though it was “humiliating” to have to admit she was abused by Chris Brown, Rihanna said she felt she needed to speak out for domestic violence victims. “It’s completely normal to go back. It’s not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know.”

Speaking out was difficult for Rihanna, however. “There are a lot of women who’ve experienced what I did, but not in the public. So it made it really difficult. I just felt like, ‘Oh my God, here it goes, my little bit of privacy.”

Chris Brown Seeks Counseling for Anger Management

R&B star Chris Brown has revealed he underwent counseling for anger management in the wake of his vicious beating of former girlfriend Rihanna.

Speaking to People, Brown said he sought counseling after his attack on Rihanna to help deal with his anger management issues. “I want to understand my feelings,” Brown said. “I just need to talk to someone. I wanted to understand the problem at hand.”

How does Brown plan to deal with his anger in the future? Apparently he might just do a waltz or two. “If I do [get man], I will work with my counselor and hopefully channel my anger into something like dancing.”

Meanwhile, the feud between Chris Brown and Oprah Winfrey continues to heat up. Oprah aired a show on domestic violence dedicated to “all the Rihannas of the world” after Brown’s assault on his then girlfriend. During the episode, she stared directly in the camera and said: “If a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again.”

Brown was angered by what he considered a “slap in the face” from Oprah. “I did a lot of stuff for her, like going to Africa and performing for her school.” Brown claims Oprah insulted him by only showing support for Rihanna after the incident. “She could’ve been more helpful, like, ‘OK, I’m going to help both of these people out.'”

A rep for Oprah responded to Chris Brown’s statements, saying, “Oprah is very appreciative that Chris Brown performed at her school, but she takes domestic abuse very seriously. She hopes he gets the counseling he needs.”

Well, at least it seems like Brown is taking Oprah’s advice and getting some proper head shrinking – because he obviously needs it.

Rihanna And Chris: The Blow-By-Blow

UPDATE: Chris Brown has just been charged with 2 felonies- felony assault, and making criminal threats.

Okay, check this out and then tell Snarkista how crazy in the head Rihanna is for getting back together with Chris Brown. Chris beat the crap out of Rihanna before the Grammy Awards, was arrested, and is now facing charges. Rihanna says she isn’t going to cooperate with law enforcement in their case against Chris.

LAPD detectives’ notes from a search warrant in the case were obtained by TMZ. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt.

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes. Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood.

Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.” Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.”

Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.” According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness.

Princess Ri-Ri, you are INSANE to keep this “relationship” alive. It may just be the death of you. LAPD interviewed Rihanna after the attack and she told them Brown had been violent toward her in the past and that the attacks were getting “more violent” as time went on. The interview is crucial evidence if the L.A. County D.A. charges Brown with felony domestic battery.

And there’s something else. The photo above showing Rihanna’s battered face is allegedly MILD compared to other photos. There were additional pics were taken on February 9, the day after the attack, and they are reportedly far more gruesome.

Walk, girl. Just walk away.

Rihanna Refusing To Press Charges Against Chris Brown

Singer Rihanna won’t press charges against Chris Brown for allegedly beating her in Los Angeles on February 8, The Sun claims today. She is also refusing to cooperate with the authorities who are conducting an intensive investigation against Chris, in contrast to her cooperation in the beginning after the assault. An unidentified police source says:

“Rihanna says she doesn’t want to testify against him. She has had a change of heart and doesn’t want the case to proceed.”

Rihanna is an idiot, as she let Chris sweet-talk his way back into her good graces last week by spending some quality time together at P. Diddy’s Miami house. Once an abuser, always an abuser. Ask Tina Turner, girl.

The police, however, may be able to proceed on their own without Rihanna’s help. The police source says that:

“Detectives are still building their case based on what she originally told them and accounts of witnesses. If the DA decides they have enough evidence, they can proceed without Rihanna’s testimony.”

Since California law allows prosecutors to charge an individual with domestic violence, even if the couple reunites, prosecutors in Los Angeles will be asked to decide if the case against Chris is strong enough to proceed without Rihanna’s testimony. A file on the case, including Rihanna’s original statement to police as well as witness accounts, will all be handed to the Los Angeles County District Attorney later this week.

Chris’ arraignment, meanwhile, has been scheduled for tomorrow.

The Drama Of Rihanna

Rihanna and Chris Brown are still sucking the air out of the collective room, as their domestic affairs continue to play out in the media. Horrible situation, Cliff Notes version: After Rihanna and Chris attended a pre-Grammy party they fought in Chris’s car. Chris beat the crap out of Rihanna. He was arrested, bonded out, and goes to trial March 4. Chris announced today that he’s going to anger management classes. A shocking picture of Ri-Ri’s battered face surfaced in the media.

Rihanna is ‘effed in the head, because she’s been calling Chris, and has indicated she wants to take him back. Brainiac. Maybe Ri-Ri’s “big brother” Kanye has promised to be Rihanna’s bodyguard because ALL CAPS WILL TERRIFY CHRIS.

What’s more, the Star says Rihanna is, or was preggers at the time. She reportedly consulted an ob-gyn at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after confiding to close friends that she suspected she was pregnant with Chris’ baby.

Wearing sunglasses and dressed in all black, she appeared nervous and upset. “She was extremely fidgety. She seemed totally uncomfortable,” an eyewitness at the doctor’s office tells Star.

With their relationship already on rocky ground, Rihanna feared a pregnancy could be the last straw and Chris might dump her. The rag says she didn’t have a chance to tell Chris that night before he pounded her up.
