Rihanna received a very interesting gift on Valentine’s Day. The singer tweeted a photo of a massive marijuana plant on Thursday, along with the caption, “Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy.” It’s not known whether Rihanna’s secret admirer was Chris Brown. She reportedly spent the holiday solo, attending a Ne-Yo concert in Los Angeles.

She also tweeted “Happy Valentines Day. Today the day fa lovin not hatin so to cats like you and I it’s just another day…” But the Bajan superstar spent Valentines night without on and off boyfriend Chris Brown, prompting rumours of another fall-out. She dolled herself up to the max in a slinky orange dress to watch an Usher concert in Los Angeles while Chris flirted with his millions of fans on Twitter.

Mars opened with his own “Locked Out Of Heaven,” which gave way to The Police’s “Walking On The Moon,” and then a Rihanna-led group performance of Marley’s “Could You Be Loved.”

Rihanna arm in arm with Chris Brown to Court for Probation hearing, video and photos below. Chris Brown had a surprising person accompany him to his court hearing on Wednesday, it was Rihanna. Brown — whose ongoing probation case stems from assaulting his on-and-off girlfriend in 2009 — brought his mother and Rihanna with him to his progress report hearing, where she blew him a kiss before the proceedings got underway.

Afterward, they left together arm-in-arm. During the hearing, the judge requested more information before thoroughly examining whether Brown faked his community service, as was alleged on Tuesday. Another hearing was scheduled for April 5.

Chris Brown Faked Completing Community Service, DA To Pursue Case

Chris Brown faked completing community service, DA to pursue case. Prosecutors allege that Brown did not perform all of the community service he claims to have completed in Virginia in connection to his infamous Rihanna assault case. In the filed motion, the D.A. says there are “significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting” of Brown’s supposed community service.

The shocking turn of events revolves around a letter sent by Richmond police chief Bryan T. Norwood last September, claiming Brown had completed 202 days of service — more than the 180 required by law. Brown purportedly worked at Tappahannock Children’s Center, doing odd jobs, and also is said to have helped the city with “trash removal… public park clean up, washing City owned vehicles” and other tasks.

Britney turns 30?! How did that happen? We swear she was just 21, in all her poppy princess glory. Yes, we’ve chosen to block out the intervening hot mess, head-shaving, baby-rearing, meltdown-having years. And fortunately she appears to have somewhat emerged on the other side. (Let that be a lesson to you Lindsay Lohan!)

Britney celebrated in a relatively simple way – by ice skating with her boyfriend in Houston. Of course, nothing is ever totally simple for a celeb right of passage. Meanwhile, her famous friends were sending her well-wishes and homemade videos. Kim Kardashian sent her wish via a video on Celebuzz:Â “Happy birthday to the beautiful Miss Britney Spears! Welcome to the 30’s club, Brit!!”

Lady Gaga, Justin Beieber, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus, Ryan Seacrest and many other sent their fond regards, which Britney no doubt enjoyed reading while hanging outÂ Â with her sons Preston, 6, and Jayden, 5.

Britney goes back to South America Saturday for her tour, playing a free show in Mexico City this weekend.
