Dancing with the Stars winner Jennifer Grey is going to have to have surgery on her back, after participating in the show aggravated an old injury she suffered in a car accident in 1987. Â Grey ruptured a disc in her spine during the exceptionally demanding training schedule for DWTS, but instead of slowing down and putting her health first, she continued to dance with the ruptured disc and went on to win.
Now she’s going to have to have surgery, but says it’s no big deal because she’ll be home the same night, and the doctors have told her it won’t be significant compared to other surgeries she’s had in the past.
