Jackass Star Bam Margera Premonition of Ryan Dunn Death

When Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a fiery auto crash in Pennsylvania on June 19, his best friend and co-star Bam Margera was halfway across the country in Arizona. Even seperated by so many miles, however, Bam Margera says he had a premonition of Ryan Dunn’s death.

“At 12:30 [local time], I just started punching out the windows of the rental van and ripping out the speakers, and I don’t even know why,” Margera told Fox affiliate WTXF. “I wasn’t mad at anything or anybody. If it was 12:30 there [Arizona time], that meants it was exactly when he crashed.”

Ryan Dunn died in a horrific car accident in the early hours of June 19 after his 2007 Porche ran off the road in West Goshen, Pennsylvania and burst into flames after crashing into the woods. Dunn and an unidentified passenger were killed in the fiery crash. According to the coroner’s report, it was impossible to determine whether they died from the impact of the crash or from the resulting fire. The flames were so intense that Dunn was only able to be identified by his tattoos.

According to the West Goshen Police Department, “preliminary investigation revealed that speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident.” Ryan Dunn may have been driving at speeds exceeding 110 miles per hour before the crash.

Ryan Dunn reportedly had over 20 citations for driving violations, including speeding and careless driving. He was also arrested for DUI in 2005 but charges were later dropped. Dunn was photographed drinking with friends at a bar on the night of his death shortly before the crash. Toxicology tests on Ryan Dunn’s body will not be available for 4 to 6 weeks.
