Sheryl Crow Adopts Baby Boy Levi James

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow announced Friday she is adopting another baby boy named Levi James Crow. Single mom Crow previously adopted son Wyatt Steven Crow in 2007.

Sheryl Crow made the announcement she has adopted another son on her website on Friday. “I have some exciting news to share with you guys,” Crow posted on the website. “Wyatt has a new little brother! Levi James was born April 30th. Just wanted you all to be the first to hear the good news!”

Crow’s publicist told CNN the singer plans to take her two sons on the road with her starting June 11. Crow will also be playing as one of the headliners of this year’s Lilith Fair and little Levi will reportedly also be accompanying mom for at least some of those tour dates as well.

Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Sheryl Crow New Resident of Cougar Town

Grammy Award-winning singer Sheryl Crow will shortly be joining gal pal Courteney Cox as a new resident of the ABC comedy series Cougar Town. No, Sheryl will not be playing herself this time, although we certainly think she qualifies for the ‘cougar’ title regardless.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Sheryl Crow will guest star in multiple episodes of Cougar Town as the new girlfriend of Grayson, played by Josh Hopkins. We think it’s a pretty hot casting move. Crow and Hopkins look like they’d be a smoking couple, as long as they can drum up some believable chemistry.

The real question is whether or not Crow can pull it off successfully. Sure, she’s actually appeared in quite a few episodes of various series, but most of the time she’s been on a stage behind a guitar. There was that Minus Man movie a decade ago, but Sheryl Crow basically kind of played herself in that too.

It’ll be interesting to see if Crow can actually play something different in an acting capacity, or if her Cougar Town character will be just another knock-off of the singer herself.

Sheryl Crow Starts New Jeans Line

Sheryl Crow is launching her own jeans line! The denim label is called “Bootheel Trading Co by Sheryl Crow”. Sheryl, 46, looks better in her jeans than any female singer her age. And a lot better than some half her age! Snarkista thinks this is one celeb-designed line that might actually not be lame. (I’m lookin’ at you, Heidi Montag).

The jeans label is eco-friendly- it’s made from “fair-trade” cotton and denim, and headed by Crow and her personal stylist. The line includes jeans, vintage tees and vests at affordable prices. Jeans are around $62 and tops around $36. The label launched in June, with a fall delivery date- but reports say shoppers are already seeing the Sheryl Crow jeans in some local stores. Snarkista’s been a fan of Sheryl’s for a LONG time, she kicked around Nashville for years before she became a superstar. Congrats!
