Skating with the Stars contestant Brandon Smith missed this week’s performance due to what was originally thought to be food poisoning, but now it appears that his condition may be more serious, as he has pulling out for the remainder of the season.
Smith began vomiting while on the set of the show, and was taken to the hospital on the assumption that he had eaten something bad. Â However, his condition has not improved, and Brandon is now very weak and having difficulty walking. Â He is being held for observation at the hospital, while they run tests and try to diagnose the problem.
