Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested near Atlanta Wednesday night after fleeing from police. Cops reportedly showed up at an abandoned house where Soulja Boy was allegedly shooting a video. When officers arrived, dozens of people reportedly fled the scene – including the rapper.
Police were called to an abandoned house outside Atlanta after receiving complaints about a large group of people on the property. when the officers approached the house, a large portion of them ran from the cops on foot. Rapper Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, fled from the scene as well.
The rapper eventually returned to the house to retrieve his car and reportedly told the cops the group was at the house to shoot a video. Police arrested Soulja Boy on charges of obstruction of justice and carted him off to the Henry County Jail. He was later released on bail.
