Talk about a scary way to start off your morning! Passengers aboard the New York Staten Island Ferry are lucky to be alive today after the ferry crashed into a passenger terminal, injuring 60 people.
Over 250 people were aboard the ferry when it crashed into the dock. Luckily, no life-threatening injuries are being reported as a result of the Staten Island Ferry crash, although some passengers have been transported to local hospitals.
We are so glad no one was severely injured in the ferry crash this time. The same ship, the Andrew J. Barberi, crashed before in 2003 and eleven people died.
