Madonna calls M.I.A. Super Bowl flip-Off a teenager thing to do

M.I.A. Middle Finger Super Bowl Malfunction Spawns Apologies From NBC And NFL

NBC and the NFL are both apologizing for the ‘middle finger malfunction’ of British hip-hop star M.I.A. during the Super Bowl halftime show. No, she didn’t have an infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction moment. NFL censors tried to blur out the obscene middle finger salute, but they didn’t quite get the timing right. So, 100 million fans watching the Super Bowl halftime show were gifted with a f**k you from M.I.A.

Over the years, we’ve all heard worse performances of the song (Roseanne Barr anyone?), but Tyler’s cover was certainly not championship game worthy. He screamed, he scratched, he wheezed, he tortured the lyrics. Steven Tyler mutilated that song to death.
