Lady Gaga is nothing if not loyal to her principles, and recently she has ended a partnership with Target over the retailer’s connection with anti-gay politics. Â Target was set to have exclusive rights to a deluxe edition of Gaga’s new album, but it seems they donated money to a political candidate who has spoken out against gay marriage.
Gay rights activists voiced their concern to Lady Gaga, and as always, she was quick to act – she contacted Target about making up for their past mistakes, but the two sides could not come to an agreement, so Gaga backed out of their business partnership. Â No word as to how much money she’ll lose because of it, or indeed how much money Target will lose.
