Sad news for The Vampire Diaries fans! It looks like all those rumors of an Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev split are true after all. And so another Hollywood golden couple bites the dust. This should make working together on the set of Vampire Diaries season 5 really fun, right?

According to a report by Us Weekly this morning, later confirmed by People and In Touch, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have officially broken up after three years together. Honestly though, it’s not like everyone didn’t see this coming. Rumors of trouble in Ian and Nina’s relationship have been the constant source of tabloid fodder for months.

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers Steven R McQueen Jeremy Will Return In Season 4

The Vampire Diaries spoilers Steven R McQueen’s Jeremy will return in Season 4. TVLine broke the news that Steven R. McQueen, whose character, Jeremy Gilbert perished in February at the hands of Katherine, will return to the CW series later this season. It is unclear who else will return as the source also confirms we will be seeing many familiar faces.

Lexi, Grams, Vicki, Anna, and many more could be among those faces, which raises the question of whether Bonnie drops the vail to the other said. After all, that’s what Silas has requested of her. There is also the question of  if McQueen will return as Jeremy, or if the immortal menace Silas will take on the form of Elena’s little brother. For now we can only speculate to what the rest of the season has in store for us. The Vampire Diaries Renewed For Season Five 2013-2014, Among Other Shows

The Vampire Diaries renewed for season five 2013-2014, among other shows. The Vampire Diaries has been renewed for Season 5. In addition to the The CW’s breakout hit Arrow being picked up for season 2, the network also announced early pickups for Supernatural.

“We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit ‘Arrow’ and fan favorite ‘Supernatural’ on Wednesday night, and the continued success of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that,” Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW, said in a statement. “Not only do ‘Arrow‘, ‘Supernatural,’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season.”

“The Vampire Diaries” is back and there are spoilers to go along with it ahead of Thursday’s new episode.

In season 4 episode 11 we’ll find Jeremy angry at Klaus for manipulating him while threatening Matt’s life. Meanwhile Damon is going to try and help Jeremy prepare for the onslaught of Klaus’ new vampires but they’re about to be beat to the punch.

Later Sheriff Forbes will team up with the Mayor to interrogate Shane in an attempt to uncover the deaths in the Founders’ Council. When Bonnie gets involved Shane will fight back and push her to the limit of her power.

It won’t be over before a new surprising enemy appears and forces Elena to come up with her own plan to save Jeremy.

Boone comes back to life to save the earth

Ian Somerhalder, the guy who went from playing the dead Boone on Lost to playing the undead Damon on The Vampire Diaries, has spoken out about his feelings regarding the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.  Apparently the environment ranks pretty high on his list of concerns, but he’s even more concerned about coming across as one of those celebrity douchebags who parades around talking about environmental causes while maintaining a carbon footprint the size of Montana.

Somerhalder told Reuters that he was concerned about crossing the line between being a celebrity and being an activist, but when you look at his history with charity work and green concerns, he appears to be the real deal.  He’s not just another pretty face talking about a token cause for publicity – he actually seems to be spending time working on projects that mean something to him.

Vampire Diaries Stars Arrested for Flashing Motorists

Four actresses from The CW’s much-hyped series The Vampire Diaries were arrested in Georgia on Aug. 22 for flashing motorists from an overpass.  According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Nina Dobreva, Candice Accola, Sara Canning and Kayla Ewell were arrested after several 911 calls to police regarding the Vampire Diaries stars’ behavior during a photo shoot on a highway overpass.

Actress Krystal Vayda – not on The Vampire Diaries – and photographer Tyler Shields were also arrested. Several drivers passing on Interstate 75 near the Rumble Road Bridge called in to 911 claiming the actresses were hanging off the bridge dangerously and “flashing” drivers.

The actresses and photographer were arrested and carted off to the Monroe County Police Office on charges of disorderly conduct. After reviewing images from the promotional shoot, police found “numerous photographs of the females hanging, sitting, and straddling the bridge.”

One photo reportedly showed one of the women “being held by her legs by the other females, as if they were trying to throw her over.” Cops charged the unruly crew with $4000 in fines and released them on bail.
