Was Tiger Woods Drinking Before Bizarre Crash?

A newly released document that has just come to light indicates police wanted to know if Tiger Woods had been drinking before his bizarre car crash on Nov. 27. According to the report, Florida cops wanted to obtain medical records from Woods’ visit to a local hospital to see if he had alcohol or drugs in his system.

The Orlando state attorney reportedly denied a subpoena request from the Florida Highway Patrol to obtain blood results from Woods’ visit to the Health Central Hospital following his accident. The state attorney stated there was “insufficient information” provided by police to grant a subpoena for the medical records.

The subpoena request details a witness at the scene of the accident said Tiger Woods “had consumed alcohol earlier in the day… and was prescribed medication (Ambien and Vicatin [sic]). The witness was reportedly the same person who dragged Tiger Woods from the car following his accident.

Published reports agree widely that the person who freed Woods was his wife, Elin Nordegren Woods. So basically, Woods’ wife apparently told cops he might have been loaded before the crash.

Tiger Woods was later cited for careless driving and charged a $164 ticket for the incident. The golfer never did speak to police following the incident. Many theorize he refused to talk to the cops to hide his facial injuries from authorities because some (or all) of them might have been inflicted byÂ his wife – and not the car crash. Mrs. WoodsÂ was rumored to have been quite pissed off by rumors of his affairs in the tabloids prior to the wreck.

Tiger Woods Scandal Inspires Spirit Airlines Parody Ad – Funny or Tasteless?

A new ad from Spirit Airlines seemingly mocking the whole Tiger Woods scandal is raising some eyebrows on the Net. The 10 second advertisement proclaims the airline’s “Eye of the Tiger” saleÂ and shows a tiger crashing an SUV into a fire hydrant.

We have to applaud Spirit Airlines for their quick uptake on profiting from the Tiger Woods scandal over his car crash and alleged affairs. Although we do question the intelligence of promoting an airline with images of a vehicle crashing.

Check out the ad for yourself below. We personally think it’s a tad tasteless and fails to actually capture the true ‘spirit’ of funny that would have made such a parody ad actually worth the film it was shot on.

Tiger Woods No Show for Charity Golf Tournament

Following his bizarre car accident on Friday, Tiger Woods has announced he will not be attending his charity golf tournament, the Chevron World Challenge, due to his “injuries”. Considering Woods is still reluctant to show his messed up face to police, it’s no surprise he doesn’t want to show it to the public either.

“I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week,” Tiger Woods posted on his website Monday. “I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I’m very sorry that I can’t be there.”

Woods will also reportedly not compete in any other events for the remainder of the year. The Chevron World Challenge has graciously announced they will refund tickets at face value for those who prefer not to attend without Tiger’s presence at the tourney.

Police, meanwhile, are still trying to get face time with Tiger Woods over the whole car accident incident. A spokeswoman for the Florida Highway Patrol said on Monday they have tried to speak to Woods repeatedly but the golf legend isn’t interested in cooperating.

Tiger Woods Accident Rumors Continue, Warrant Being Pursued

Rumors surrounding golf legend Tiger Woods‘ strange car accident on Friday continue to swirl around the Net. The leading theory is that Woods actually ran into a fire hydrant and tree at his home because his wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, was chasing him down the driveway with a golf club and beating on his car. That’s pure speculation at this point, but something weird is most certainly going on.

The first reports from the scene claimed Elin Nordegren ‘rescued’ her hubby after his crash by smashing in a window of his car with a golf club. This in itself is bizarre and not just because she gave police two different stories about how and when she obtained the golf club. After all, it wasn’t Elin who called 911 apparently, it was a neighbor. Shouldn’t her first response to seeing her husband wrecked into a tree have been to call for help?

Then we have the odd behavior of Tiger Woods himself, who has repeatedly refused to be seen by or talk to police. Perhaps because he doesn’t want them to see the injuries to his face were caused by another human, not by the crash? According to several tabloid reports bouncing around out there, Tiger Woods and his wife were allegedly having a nasty argument about rumors he had an affair with New York hostess Rachel Utichel and Elin Woods scratched up Tiger’s face during the fight.

Lastly, although police have ruled out alcohol being involved in the accident, Tiger Woods was reportedly seriously out of it at the accident scene, drifting in and out of consciousness. His injuries do not appear to have been major enough to cause such a blackout, but it’s reported Woods may have been dosed on pain pills for a previous injury.

With Tiger Woods seemingly still quite reluctant to talk to authorities, police are reportedly taking steps to obtain a warrant for the golfer’s medical records and any possible video footage of the accident from the security cameras at his home if Woods continues to refuse to talk.

The rumors, for now, are still just rumors. But we’re betting there is definitely more to this story than Woods and his wife have fessed up to so far.

Tiger Woods Injuries Caused by Wife Not Car Crash?

Golf legend Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident at his home on Friday, but it may not have been the crash that caused all his injuries. According toÂ rumors going around, it was Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, who scratched up his face – not his car.

According to police reports from the scene, Tiger Woods reportedly crashed his car into a fire hydrant and then a tree at his home in Florida just after 2:00 AM. Woods was allegedly dragged from the car by his wife, Elin Woods, who told police she had used a golf club to smash out a window of the car to get to her husband. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported Tiger Woods was allegedly knocked unconscious for about six minutes after the crash. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and later released.

Several gossip sitesÂ are now reporting that not all of Tiger Wood’s injuriesÂ may have beenÂ caused by his weirdly bad driving. According to TMZ.com, one source reports some of the injuries to the golfer’s face were caused by his wife during a heated argument shortly before the accident. The couple were reportedly arguing over a National EnquirerÂ story accusing Tiger Woods of cheating on his wife with Manhattan hostess Rachel Uchitel.

Uchitel, who lost her fiancÃ© in the World Trade Center on 9/11, has reportedly denied any such affair. Rumor has also romantically linked Rachel Uchitel to Bones star David Boreanaz. Star Magazine claims Boreanaz slept with Uchitel while his wife, Jaime Bergman, was pregnant. So far no evidence has been produced to support those claims either.

Police did not discover any evidence of alcohol involved in the accident. Although rumors are flying Tiger Woods and his wife had a massive fight shortly before the accident, authorities on scene did not officiallyÂ state anything regarding a domestic dispute in the police reports. TMZ.com, however, says Elin Woods told officers at the scene the two had been arguing.

The crash remains under investigation at this time. Police have so far been unsuccessful in their attempts to question Tiger Woods about the accident, but plan on trying again today.
