New England Patriots football star Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen are being sued by two photographers who claim they were shot at during the couple’s wedding earlier this year in Costa Rica.

Photographers Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles claim they had permission to be on a nearby property with the intention of taking photographs of the wedding. Security guards working for Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen allegedly accosted the two photographers and demanded their cameras and memory cards. That’s when things reportedly turned nasty.
Yuri Cortez and Rolando Aviles claim that during the struggle the security guards “opened fire with pistols,” shooting out the rear window of their SUV and “narrowly missed striking [their] heads.” One photographer also claims a security guard handled him roughly and twisted his arm, according to court documents filed in New York.
The two photographers are now suing Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen for more than #1 million in damages, claiming the two stars were “negligent” in hiring and training the security guards who fired on them.
On the blog CantStoptheBleeding.com after the incident, Cortez posted: “I couldn’t believe it when I realized what they had done. I could have lost my life for the sake of some pictures that Gisele didn’t want published. Are they insane?”
