“Kill Bill” star Uma Thurman is pregnant with her third child at the age of 41. This will be the first child together for Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson, her financier boyfriend. Thurman, who will shortly be guest-starring in five episodes of the new NBC series “Smash,” has two previous children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
Although becoming pregnant after the age of 40 is often more difficult and comes with great risks of birth defects and complications, Thurman is hardly the first celebrity to recently conceive in their fourth decade. Halle Berry and Mariah Carey, for example, both gave birth to children at 41.
