Will Zsa Zsa and her Prince have a baby?

It sounds ridiculous, but it just might happen. Prince Frederic von Anhalt and Zsa Zsa Gabor want to have a baby together, and originally the plan was to use von Anhalt’s sperm and a surrogate’s eggs, but now it looks like they may only need the surrogate to carry the baby, not provide the eggs.

A woman has contacted von Anhalt, saying that she knew Zsa Zsa in the 1960s, and that Zsa Zsa had some eggs frozen in case she wanted to have a baby later.  Well, now is certainly later, so the race is on for von Anhalt to find out if the story is true, and locate the eggs for fertilization.

Zsa Zsa Gabor back in the hospital

Sadly, things do not seem to be going so well with actress Zsa Zsa Gabor‘s recovery, as she was rushed to the hospital yesterday after spitting up blood.  According to her husband, Zsa Zsa was also having a lot of trouble breathing, and he was worried that they would not make it to the hospital in time.

As it stands now, she is in undisclosed condition, but still hanging on.  Zsa Zsa was said to be devastated about the death of her dear friend, Elizabeth Taylor, and had not been in good spirits in recent days.  The stress mad her blood pressure rise to a dangerous level, which may have contributed to this latest medical problem.

Zsa Zsa’s house allegedly broken into

If it sounds fishy, it probably is – Prince Frederic von Anhalt claims that the house he shares with ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was broken into over the weekend by two mystery men who may or may not have taken things, and who may or may not have destroyed some property.

In a report that many think is just the Prince trying to keep himself on the media radar, von Anhalt sais that two men entered his house in the middle of the night, and that he chased them away with a baseball bat.  He also says he fell while chasing them, and so they got away.  Interestingly convenient.

Zsa Zsa Gabor may be immortal

I don’t think anybody thought this would happen, but after being rushed to the hospital again last week with full-blown pneumonia and other complications stemming from her recent leg amputation, Zsa Zsa Gabor has been released and has returned home for her 94th birthday celebration.  Zsa Zsa has had numerous health scares over the past few years, and all of them have been pretty serious.

Nonetheless, the former actress, who turned 94 yesterday, is said to be back to her normal self, in good spirits, and recovering well from her latest bout with illness.  Her husband invited some close friends over for cake and a small celebration, which apparently is exactly what Zsa Zsa asked for.

Zsa Zsa Gabor to have amputation

Poor Zsa Zsa‘s health just keeps getting worse and worse – at age 93, the retired actress is scheduled in to have the lower part of her right leg amputated, to prevent a gangrenous lesion from spreading.  She was encouraged to have the amputation before the holidays, but decided to wait until afterward and spend the holidays with her family instead, just in case this could be her last year with them.

Zsa Zsa is also suffering from complications due to a broken hip back in July, and blood clots that were discovered in her legs in November.  With any luck, the amputation will go smoothly, but at the age of 93, any major procedure is risky.

Prince Frederic von Anhalt in the hospital again

This man has no end of freak accidents, it seems!  You might remember back in November that Zsa Zsa Gabor‘s husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, was admitted to the hospital after he swallowed a bee and had trouble breathing when it stung the inside of his windpipe.

Well, now it seems he can’t tell the difference between glue and eye drops… yeah, you already see where this is going.  Von Anhalt is having surgery today to reopen his eye, after he mistook a bottle of his wife’s nail glue for a bottle of eye drops, and glued his own eye shut.  The issue is not only that the eyelids are glued together, but also that they’re glued to the eyeball itself.  Yikes!

Zsa Zsa’s husband in hospital after bizarre accident

Prince Frederic von Anhalt, husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, has been involved in an accident so bizarre and frightening, it makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.  Apparently he was lounging around outside, sunbathing and enjoying a snack, when he accidentally ingested a bee.

He didn’t realize what was going on until it was too late, and the distressed bee stung him on the inside of the throat as he was swallowing it.  Prince Frederic says he felt instant white-hot pain inside his throat, and then suddenly had trouble breathing as the venom from the bee sting caused his windpipe to swell shut.  He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and has remained over the weekend for observation.
