WARNING: THE BACHELORETTE 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD

This post contains The Bachelorette 2012 spoilers from this week’s episode. Please do not read on if you do not want to know what happened or who was eliminated on The Bachelorette 2012 this week!

This week on The Bachelorette 2012, Emily Maynard and the final six guys — Arie, Chris, Doug, Jef, John and Sean — will head off to Prague in the Czech Republic. There will be a threesome group date, and three one-on-one dates, including a date between Emily Maynard and Arie Luyendyk.

That date should prove very interesting indeed because this is the week Emily Maynard finally finds out about the secret Arie Luyendyk has been keeping from her. Turns out that Arie had a previous relationship with Cassie Lambert, one of The Bachelorette 2012 producers. On the show Monday night, Emily Maynard finds out exactly what that relationship was about and why Arie kept it hidden from her.

Can’t wait any longer to find out what happened on The Bachelorette 2012 this week? Well, let’s move right along to our live The Bachelorette recap and find out!

The Bachelorette Emily Maynard and her six final suitors are in their last week before the guys will have to face their toughest challenge yet: the hometown dates. Host Chris Harrison tells the six men that there will not be any one-on-one date roses, but there will be a rose for someone on the group date this week.

The first one-on-one date of The Bachelorette 2012 this week goes to Arie and says: “Let’s Czech out Prague together.” Who comes up with these puns? That one really did make me groan out loud. Arie says he’s already fallen in love with The Bachelorette Emily Maynard just after two dates. He really hopes that he will get the chance to take her on a hometown date.

Emily Maynard admits she has chemistry with Arie and likes to kiss him, but she knows a secret about him that he has not revealed to her. Host Chris Harrison explains that Arie had a relationship with The Bachelorette 2012 producer Cassie Lambert, but he has not told Emily about it. She is not pleased that he has kept this secret from her.

The Bachelorette producer Cassie Lambert apparently told Emily Maynard about the brief relationship she had with Arie in the past, and Emily is distressed that he would choose to keep this from her. She says she feels stupid and she really wished he had come forward on his own about the relationship.

On their one-on-one date, Emily pointedly asks if Arie is totally being honest with her. He kind of scoots around the question, spouting some BS about you should trust people until they give you a reason not to, being truthful is so important, and it is always better to be honest and straightforward from the start. Really Arie? He does admit he has a tattoo of a woman’s name. Which, frankly, would certainly put me off.

Back with Chris Harrison, he explains to viewers that Emily, Arie and Cassie discuss the relationship and the conclusion Emily comes to is that it was so far in the past that it doesn’t really matter anymore. Arie does apologize to Emily for failing to reveal the information previously, and they end up smooching. Honestly, I would have given him the boot. You don’t just leave out that you dated one of the show’s producers, no matter how long ago it was. When you do, it just makes you look like a sleazy game player.

The guys at the hotel are all chattering about what is going on with Emily, and her date with Arie. Another date card is dropped in their midst and this one is for John. This one says: “In Prague, all you need is love.” Sean is especially disappointed that this one-on-one date with Emily Maynard went to John.

After Arie gushes all over Emily and tells her his family will love her, and he already does as well, Emily is all flustered. She tells Arie that if things keep going the way they are, she would be so happy to go to his hometown and meet his family. She says he has made her very happy and said exactly what she wanted to hear.

On the next one-on-one date, Emily Maynard and John head out to the Lennon Wall. They paint notes on the wall and visit a lover’s fence while Emily tries to decide what kind of connection they have. While they go off to have dinner in a dungeon, we see the guys back at the hotel whining about never getting enough time with Emily.

Chris is sick of not getting any alone time with Emily, and he just wants the chance to have more face time with her. Jef thinks the whole thing is just an emotional rollercoaster. Chris needs a drink, all he can think about is spending time with Emily and it is making him crazy.

During their dungeon dinner date, John tells Emily his previous girlfriend cheated on him just a day after their first anniversary. Emily says she now can understand why John takes it so slow, because he has had his heart broken in the past. John says he feels he could fall for her, but it is a slow thing for him. Emily and John share a kiss.

The guys back at the hotel get the next date card and this time it is a threesome for Chris, Doug and Sean: “Let’s find our happily ever after.” Chris is one cranky guy because he does not get a one-on-one date. This especially rubs when John comes back and happily tells all the guys his date with Emily Maynard was totally fantastic. Sean says he really needs to get some time alone with Emily so he can tell her what he is thinking and goes yelling for her in the street.

Sean finds Emily and he tells her he just had to talk to her. He says he wasn’t happy about having to go on the group date instead of having a one-on-one with her. Emily thinks it is cool Sean just decided to come out and talk to her and being around him makes her happy. Sean tells Emily that even if he has to share her with tons of guys just to get five minutes of time with her, then that is what he will do. The two do some lengthy lip-smacking…

For the group date, Chris, Doug and Sean go to a castle with Emily via a horse drawn carriage. They have drinks and Doug toasts Emily for being a lovely host. The guys all cheer. Emily thinks Doug has a lot of the qualities she is looking for in a mate, but she really just isn’t sure there is a romantic connection there. She tells Doug she needs to get to know him better. He wants her to have the opportunity to meet his son and his best friend and visit his hometown.

While they are walking together, Emily says she is waiting for Doug to really show he is interested in her and there is no movement going on in their relationship. Doug responds by going in for a kiss. Unfortunately it doesn’t change Emily’s mind. She says she doesn’t feel the fight in him for her and she needs a guy who really wants her. She tells Doug she respects him too much to keep him away from his son when it just isn’t happening between them.

Doug leaves crying and says he feels stupid for kissing Emily. One day, he says, he’ll find the right girl and have the family he hopes for.

After Doug is sent home, Emily finishes out the date with Chris and Sean. Alone with Sean, she asks him if anyone found out about him sneaking out to spend time with her and says she woke up smiling about it. Sean and Emily do some more snogging, and Chris is just all kinds of jealous about it.

The last date card comes down for Jef and kind of ominously says: “This is your last chance to pull at my heartstrings.” Jef has to think about how he is going to convince Emily she wants him around for another week!

Back on the group date, Chris is still upset about not getting a one-on-one date and wants to know why. He gives her a line that he is so falling for her and she should come to his hometown and meet his family. In the end, however, Emily decides to give the group date rose to Sean. All that kissing is obviously going to her head!

The guys are back at the hotel chattering like magpies when Emily comes to pick up Jef for their individual date. This is kind of a weird date as they go to a marionette shop and then take marionettes to the library to act out scenes from their relationship so far. Jef isn’t shy about telling Emily he is totally in love with her and he even wants to adopt a puppy together. Soooooo cheesy.

Emily and Jef lay on the floor and have a heady talk about family, kids and getting married. Jef says he can see having a family and growing old with Emily.

Before the Rose Ceremonly, Jef says he thinks John and Chris are the ones in trouble. Chris also thinks he is in trouble because he didn’t “bring it” during his time with emily on the group date. John believes he is going to get a rose and he is not worried.

Host Chris Harrison tells the six final men there will not be a cocktail party this evening. Instead, the guys will all go directly to the Rose Ceremony as Emily knows exactly what she wants to do. Emily says the cocktail parties are to finish out any questions she still needs answered, but this time she does not have any.

Sean already has a rose, of course, so he is safe for another week. Jef is given the first rose in the Rose Ceremony, which is only to be expected after this week’s dates. Arie also receives a rose, despite his cover-up of the previous relationship with The Bachelorette 2012 producer. Chris interrupts to take Emily aside for a last plea, apologizing to her for acting stupid when he didn’t get the group date rose. He says he is ready to be the man that she and Ricki deserve.

Now we have the final rose and Emily has decided to give it to… Chris. Chris is thrilled and says he is the happiest man in the world and gives hugs to everyone. Emily tells John the relationship between the two of them was just going too slowly and she was not ready to meet his family. John is shocked that he was not given a rose and has been sent home.

Now we are down to the final four: Arie, Chris, Jef and Sean. It should be noted that Reality Steve, the infamous The Bachelor & The Bachelorette spoilers blogger, did indeed have the final four guys correct in his spoilers right from the beginning of the season.
