On The Bachelorette 2012, Emily Maynard will enjoy ‘fantasy’ dates with her final three remaining suitors — Arie Luyendyk Jr., Jef Holm and Sean Lowe — and decide who she might want to receive an “overnight” card to spend more intimate time with her alone. The Bachelorette 2012 spoilers we’ve seen out there previously revealed who would allegedly be going home tonight, but I can’t wait to see how Emily’s decision comes about. Join us as we discover the motive behind tonight’s elimination in our live The Bachelorette 2012 recap!

WARNING: THE BACHELORETTE 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD!

This post contains The Bachelorette 2012 spoilers! Please do not continue reading if you do not want to know what happens or who was eliminated!

This week on The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard will have ‘fantasy dates’ with each of her remaining three suitors: race car driver Arie, insurance agent Sean, and entrepreneur Jef. After the dates, she will have the option to offer an “overnight” card to each of the three guys to provide them with an opportunity to spend more intimate time with her alone in the ‘fantasy suite’.

As a single mom who has to set an example for her young daughter, Ricki, the big question is whether or not The Bachelorette Emily Maynard will decide to actually invite one or more of the guys to spend the night? Or will she instead opt to sacrifice the chance to further explore her physical attractions in order to be a better role model for Ricki?

Whichever guy does go home tonight, we’re sure it is going to be a rough decision for The Bachelorette Emily Maynard, who was an emotional wreck on camera last week when she sent home Chris Bukowski. Let’s get right on with our The Bachelorette 2012 recap for this week and find out who she decides is just not the right man for her!

The Bachelorette 2012 opens this evening with Emily Maynard talking about how hard it is falling in love with more than one person. The Bachelorette Emily Maynard is in Curacao waiting on her final three suitors, Arie, Jef and Sean, to arrive. She does not want to hurt anyone, but she had to make a choice of who to send home tonight.

The Bachelorette Emily Maynard reminisces about each of her final three suitors. Sean is such a great guy and she does feel for him. Jef has so many good qualities and is really sweet, although he has an edge. As for Arie, well, she talks about how they really hit it off. I think it is clear Arie definately gets Emily warm under the collar.

The first ‘fantasy date’ of the evening is with Sean. The Bachelorette Emily Maynard and Sean head off to a private island via helicopter. Emily notes that Sean has still not said “I love you.” Sean doesn’t know when he is going to be able to say the words; he really wants it to happen naturally.

Sean tries to get more personal with Emily as they talk on the beach at the island, telling her about his past relationship with his ex-girlfriend and how he loved her, but didn’t feel he was in love with her. He could easily tell Emily right then and there how he feels, but he can’t quite commit. He tells her he is crazy about her, but still doesn’t us the L word. Sean thinks he is being as open as he can be in sharing with Emily, but it is hard for him to tell someone he loves them. Emily feels Sean is still holding back.

Next up on their fantasy date, Emily Maynard and Sean Lowe dive into the island waters for snorkeling… and kissing. Emily still wonders if Sean really feels deeply enough for her because he won’t say he loves her.

Later, at dinner, Sean finally does put it out there and tells Emily he is falling in love with her after giving her a litter he wrote for Ricki. The letter talks is written as if Sean and Emily are together and tells Ricki he is not trying to replace her dad. Sean feels his family’s acceptance of Emily really cemented how he feels about her and he wants her to be a part of that family.

The time comes for Emily to decide whether or not to give Sean an invitation to come back to the ‘fantasy suite’ with her. She decides that she is going to give it to him and they go back to the room. Sean and Emily spend some time in the hot tub and talk some more. They kiss but the chemistry seems a bit lacking. Emily eventually ends the evening by sending Sean away with another kiss. She is, after all, a single mom and she wants to be a good example for her daughter. Sean says he wants to “marry that girl.”

Next up is The Bachelorette Emily Maynard’s date with Jef Holm. Emily and Jef take out a sailboat to a private cove.  Jef says it will not be over for him until he proposes to Emily and they leave The Bachelorette 2012 as a couple. Emily and Jef talk about their hometown date from last week and how his parents were skeptical but came around and gave their approval of her. Jef wants to know if Emily thinks he would make a great parent for little Ricki and Emily says she thinks he would. Jef says he loves her and he wants to spend every day with her like it is their last. When they reach the cove, the two jump off the boat to go play on a surf board. Emily confesses that she really saw something special in Jef from the first night she met him.

Jef wants to know where Emily would want to live if they were to end up together. Emily says she woul dnot expect him to move to Charlotte and that she would move to wherever he was. Jef says he would not mind a fresh start though. Jef says he is crazy about her and he wouldn’t change anything about the time they have spent together. Emily tells him that she could picture him with her and Ricki as a family.

Jef wonders why Emily has not found someone already to share her life with, and she says she just has not found the person with the right “it” factor for her yet. Emily asks Jef why he hasn’t found the right woman yet and he says he just hasn’t had anything be as perfect as her time with her has been.

After their date, it seems almost a given that Emily will give Jef an invitation to the ‘fantasy suite’ so they can spend more time together. Jef says he would loving nothing more than to be more intimate with her, but Ricki and their families are watching. He says there will be a time and a place to spend every night with her later in their own ‘fantasy suite’.

Emily thanks Jef for being a gentleman and invites him back to the suite anyway just so they can extend their date. Emily and Jef snuggle and kiss, whole he tells her he is in love with her. When Jef leaves for the night, he says it is a very hard thing to do.

The last date of the night is with Arie Luyendyk Jr. and it is a make-out fest! Arie says he has been in love with Emily from the very first date. They head out on a boat together and they can’t seem to keep their lips off each other. There is some serious physical attraction going on here, that’s for sure!

Emily and Aire go swimming with dolphins, which just makes me all kinds of jealous. Back on the boat, they talk about Arie’s favorite moments of their dates… and well, it is all about the kissing isn’t it? Emily knows they have a very strong physical attraction, but she wants to know if there is more to their relationship than just chemistry.

Emily wants to know what Arie does on a typical day. She finds out that he usually sleeps in until 9AM, while she is up by 6:30AM as a single mom. He says he goes out for almost every meal and loves to socialize and be around people. He wants to know where she would want to live if they were together. Emily says she wouldn’t mind moving to Scottsdale to be with him if that was the best thing for Ricki. Emily is not just looking for a mate, but also looking for a father for Ricki, and she thinks Arie understands that.

Arie tells Emily she makes him feel confident and like the man in the relationship. She thinks it would be fun building up a relationship with her daughter (although he’s obviously been a bit wishy-washy about the whole kid thing all season).

Emily says deciding on whether or not to give Arie an invite to the fantasy suite is a big struggle for her. She finally decides not to give him an invite because she “doesn’t trust” herself to be alone in the suite with him. In other words, she is afraid she won’t be able to keep her clothes on! Emily emphasizes that by saying, “Good Lord, he’s hot!”

Finally it is time for the Rose Ceremony and Emily sits down with The Bachelorette 2012 host Chris Harrison to talk about her decision. Emily is stressed because she sees so much good in each one and she’s just not ready to send one home yet, but she has to.

Chris Harrison tells Emily that each of the final three guys has taped a personal video message for her to watch before she decides which one to send home. He says he will leave her alone to watch them, and, in tears, she tells him this totally sucks.

Emily is upset that she only has two roses to give out tonight and she’s falling in love with each of the guys for different reasons. Now she has to watch these video messages while looking like she is being slowly tortured.

First up is Sean, who says in his message that he is head over heels for her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He says he does love her and he does not want her to ever forget that.

Jef’s video message is next, and he says he is totally and completely in love with her. He says he already knew he had fallen for her in Croatia and says he will always be there to defend her and protect her. He wants to build a family with her and can’t wait to meet Ricki and go into the future with them both.

The last message is from Arie, who says he knew they would fit wonderfully together after their first date in Dollywood. He says (cheesy pun here) that his heart is always racing to her. What he loves most about her is that she does not know how beautiful she is on the inside and out.

At the Rose Ceremony, Emily Maynard gives the first rose of the evening to… Jef. Honestly I think that was the best date of the evening and the two really do seem to have something sparking between them.

The final rose of the night will go to… Arie! Yes, the race car “so hot” driver will be in the final two to compete against Jef for Emily Maynard’s affections.

Poor Sean is eliminated from the competition after he finally got up the guts to say the L Word. Jef tells Emily he doesn’t know what to say and he feels stupid that he didn’t see this coming. While he cares for her, he understands that she has to do what is best for herself in the end. Emily walks him out, crying as he leaves.
