The Biggest Loser 16 casting is now underway, so if you want a chance to be on the next season, now is the time to apply. Interestingly, it looks like there might just be some The Biggest Loser 2014 spoilers to share about next season in the casting announcement!
Hopeful future The Biggest Loser 2014 contestants can send in their applications online or attend one of the open call casting events across the country. The future winner will take home $250,000 and the title of The Biggest Loser if they are the last man or woman standing at the finale.
In the casting call for The Biggest Loser 16, there are some potential hints about the ‘themes’ of the upcoming season. First of all, the announcement specifically calls out for applicants who have “at least 100lbs to lose” — so unless you have that much weight to take off, you probably don’t stand a good chance of getting in.
The announcement also specifically mentions producers are “now seeking families of 4 or more (18+)” to apply for the upcoming season. This includes “moms/dads, siblings, spouses, cousins, in-laws, nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles, etc.” So we’re guessing there is possibly going to be an overall ‘family’ theme for The Biggest Loser 2014.
There is also a note directly asking for “former athletes (whether you played in high school, college or pro) to try out for the new season. We aren’t sure how that combos with the whole family thing, but The Biggest Loser does love having former athletes on the show in general, like last year’s Olympic weight-lifter Holley Mangold.
Even if you aren’t a former athlete, or part of a big family needing to lose weight together, you can still apply. All individuals are also welcome to submit an application online at TheBiggestLoserCasting.com or attend an open casting call.
