The Voice 2012 Live Recap: The Final 4 Take the Stage (VIDEOS)

The Voice 2012 live finale is here and we’re bringing you the results and performances live as they happen. Who will be The Voice 2012 winner for season two of the hit singing reality show? Well, we’ve already made our The Voice 2012 predictions, now we just have to sit back and watch to see what happens!

On The Voice 2012 live finale show Monday night, the final 4 remaining contestants will have be all over the stage in a last ditch effort to prove they deserve to win. The singers will each perform a solo song and join their team coaches for a duet performance as well. There will also reportedly be additional performances with former contestants previously eliminated this season.

WARNING: THE VOICE 2012 SPOILERS AHEAD!

Along with all the performances from The Voice 2012 final 4, there will be a handful of guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum, and Hall and Oates. Team coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera will also perform.

In my The Voice 2012 predictions for the finals, I bet on Juliet Simms from Team Cee Lo Green to take home the final win and become The Voice 2012 winner. However, I admit it is basically impossible to predict what sort of crazy thing might happen at this point in the competition, especially since the rest of the contestants have also had their own moments of glory on the show and have strong fan support. Your guess is as good as mine whether it will be Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul, Chris Mann or Tony Lucca who we will be saying won The Voice 2012 after it is all over and done with.

Here are your The Voice 2012 final 4 contestants:

  • Team Blake: Jermaine Paul.
  • Team Christina: Chris Mann
  • Team Cee Lo: Juliet Simms
  • Team Adam: Tony Lucca

And here we go with our The Voice 2012 live recap of the final performance show of the season. Let’s see if the final 4 managed to impress with their last chance performances Monday night!

Jermaine Paul (Team Blake) — “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly

Comments: Jermaine looks hot in a white tux jacket and he is singing his heart out, emoting all over the place. He commands the stage and this is one of his best performances of the season and no better time for it! Beautiful!

Judges: Christina Aguilera says Jermaine sings with so much emotion; he even made her give him a standing ovation and he shined like a superstar. Cee Lo Green says it was the perfect song choice and the stage production was awesome. Adam Levine says Jermaine is an amazing singer and so powerful. Blake Shelton is totally emotional and speechless; he says he absolutely loved the song and feels he has learned from Jermaine throughout the season.

Vote: 1-855-VOICE-01

Juliet Simms (Team Cee Lo) performs “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley as a tribute song to her team coach. She thanks Cee Lo Green for all his support. She looks great but she is the tiniest bit wobbly on the song in my opinion.

Chris Mann and Christina Aguilera hit the stage for a duet of “Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli. Really beautiful performance and they sound quite lovely together.

And now we move on to the next individual performance…

Tony Lucca (Team Adam) — “Ninety-Nine Problems” by Jay-Z

Comments: Kind of an odd mix of rock and blues with some other genres thrown into the mix. I’m not a huge fan of the song but it’s a good performance. Tony is likely to get props for using the song to get back at Christina for all her snarky comments though.

Judges: Blake says he is confused but it was a cool version of the song and it was fun. Christina thinks it is a good performance but it was derogatory toward women and he maybe should have thought about that with his wife and family in the audience. Cee Lo says he loves it and it was hard to pull off. Adam takes the time to explain the song a bit so the ladies listening won’t be offended, he is very proud of Tony’s performance.

Vote: 1-855-VOICE-03

Chris Mann comes on stage for his tribute song to his coach and performs Christina Aguilera’s song “The Voice Within.” Christina runs on stage to hug him. It is quite a nice performance actually. Chris thanks Christina for taking a chance on him.

Juliet Simms and Cee Loo Green come out to do their duet, “Born to Be Wild” by Steppen Wolf. What a stage productions! Totally wild and awesome fun performance.

Next up we have another duet with Tony Lucca and Adam Levine doing “Yesterday” by the Beatles. It is a very laid back, mellow performance and a nice ballad break after the Juliet and Cee Lo rock production.

And now on to our third individual performance…

Chris Mann — “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Grobon

Comments: Such an obvious choice of song for Chris Mann that I’m actually a bit disappointed by it, although he sounds great on it, of course. It is incredibly beautiful, I just wanted to hear something I didn’t expect from him.

Judges: Cee Lo says Chris is one of the most incomparable singers he knows and wants Chris to sing at his next wedding. Christina is in tears during the performance and says she is so proud of him and his amazing raw talent.

Vote: 1-855-VOICE-04

Now we have Jermaine Paul and Blake Shelton coming on stage for a duet of “Soul Man” by Isaac Hayes. Really fun performance and shows off both of their pipes gorgeously. Loved it!

Tony Lucca appears to sing his tribute song to coach Adam Levine, “Harder to Breathe.”

Tony says this is a life altering experience and like nothing else in the world and thanks all of the judges.

Juliet Simms — “Free Bird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd

Comments: Kind of a risky choice if you think about the fact that nearly everyone cringes whenever they hear someone is going to do this extremely overdone song. However, as much as I almost wanted to hate the song choice, Juliet could sing commercial jingles and sound amazing. It’s a hit.

Judges: Cee Lo is literally getting tears in his eyes and he says he has no problem with Juliet on his team. Adam thinks Juliet’s voice is just incredible and she is an original. Christina also totally loves it.

Vote: 1-855-VOICE-02

  1. Christina…. Get off Tony!!! He is good, even great!!! Just because what? Are u jealous?? Be a good solider and suck it up…. Whatever it may be!!!!!!

  2. What the hell is wrong with christina? I think she is mad Tony did not pick her as his coach. What a B…….

  3. Christina is showing (once again) her true colors.  I actually think her plan may backfire when her artist doesn’t get the votes he might have ’cause she’s an ass!  Just heard Adam and Tony do Yesterday…wow!!!

  4. Chris and xtina rocked it
He has the most amazing voice
    and deserves to win.
    they look cute together.

  5. Christina looks like trash and acts like trash. She needs to cover herself with clothing that is more weight and age appropriate and get that snooty “I’m better than everyone else” look off of her ridiculous over-made up face. She thinks this show is all about her. With the woman she has become, I could easily see her being eliminated from this show!!

  6. Germain Paul and Chris are amazing! I think Chris should make a CD with Christina. They are all blessed with beautiful voices!

  7. What did Tony Lucca ever do to Christine that she always discriminates against him in one way or another.  Suppose to judge voices with integrity.

  8. Don’t like how Cristina dissed tony luca in front of his wife and kid. I’m a fan of her music but I don’t like that cut throat attitude. After all that he was not disrespectful towards her and even expressed his gratitude to all judges. Sorry xtina u looked bad on this one

  9. I totally agree. She’s so rude. Texting on the phone or something while Tony lucca was talking. If her guy doesn’t win, the votes totally reflect her nasty attitude. Have u ever heard of the word metaphor Christina?

  10. Christina is a witch texting while a contestant is trying thank her is outrages … She needs to get some class……but I don’t that could ever happpen

  11. Why is Christina such a bitch about Tony? No room at the top for another MM alumni? I will vote for him because of her attitude.

  12. Christina…..What an example you portray to your fans when you act like a real B!!!
You have a great voice but lack so much in many ways……I think it’s time you get bAck down to earth….maybe the Voice should cast you off and put Tony Lucca as a judge…that would show you! Time to wake up Christina before you lose all your fans….the little ou might have left.

  13. Christina really needs to cover herself up… getting to fat… and the way she was acting..REALLY…Tony needs to win now….

  14. Juliet Rocks. She has a great rock anthem type voice, and is always so humble, thankful and sincere. Jermaine has a great voice, but lets face it,after having the exposure of  being a back up singer for Alecia Keys, if he was really “great”, he would already have a solo  career. Chris and Tony are good singers, but nothing unique going on there. I’m rooting for Juliet.

  15. Chris has such an amazing voice. what a shame that Christina is ruining his chances with her horrible B attitude!

  16. Christina was a total bitch! Unbelieveable for her to be texting while Tony was thanking all 4 judges. Not to mention all the rude ass comments to him every week! And girl friend put your damn plastic boobs back in your dress.

  17. Love this quote:
Aguilera reared her ugly head as she was offended and called the song “derogatory towards women.” Yes this is the same woman who pranced around in ass-less chaps for a song called “Dirrty,” so take that one with a grain of salt

  18. I called the number you have listed for Juliet Simms  1-855-VOICE-04 and it’s not for Juliet! What’s up with this?

  19. Disgusted with the attitude Christina has. Basically saying Tony was not a real man and having no class!?
Then as he was thanking all of the judges and she could not put her phone down was so incredibly rude!
Not impressed with her personality at all.

  20. Christina is the rudest. Texting while Tony was speaking. Truly liked her before not anymore! Need a new judge RUDE

  21. She is so rude. Texting while he is talking. I used to like her. She has a horrible attitude! RUDE

  22. FIRST OFF,  Christine Aguilera was disgusting, critical of Tony for the metaphoric lyrics in his song. Dumb! She totally overshadowed her man Chris on their duet…her stuffed into an underside dress which from the back enhanced her bulging rippling rolls of fat, and from the front set her big sagging breasts into the spotlight. She hogged all the camera time, with her star glittering eye lash liners. Her guy looses.
Tony must have neen raised in the REd Skelton days of tv, when Clem Cadiddlehopper wore those goofy bum hats. His partially shaved beard and his hobo mustache are a pain. He is very…uncool. His songs were not good. Adam knew it. Way too nerdy.
The Germain dude, overdoes the upper octave holdouts…screeching. Too much of that is offensive…hard to deal with. He has never done a show with his shirt buttoned up. That may cost votes. Best song was the duet, Soul Man. The guy is an emotional basket case, which points up some questions. Why does he roll fromn side to side and be so anxious “after” he sings, shifting feet and weaving? Wussup with dat? I never bought the idea that he “gave up” his backup singing gig to go on the”Voice.” More to that story I think.
As for Cee Lo and his chickadee from Florida…well…JULIEIT..A class act!!!I was hoping she would sing “Cry baby” the janice Joplin version…as a closer, but she was great. She should win, because she has a broader base than Germaine. Very cook chick and deserving of a recording contract. She could win back the music heart of R and B and good old rock, and inject some goos music back into the system. Computers have taken the artistry out of today’s music. Repetitive disco beats…electronic percussion…all that stuff. Everybody yhoung loves old mo Town and traditional rockin’ on rock and roll.
Go Juliet Simms!! I’ll pay happy bucks for an autographed copy of your first cd!! Ceelo has it right…she should win, based on sheer talent. Regrettablyh, Germain is duplicated all the time…stereotypical…not unique…great singer mindya…but not unique enough to be a recording star. I don’t buy the back up to front lines idea. There is a reason why he was never “discovered”. We may never know what it was.

  23. Chris Mann has a beautiful voice, too bad he chose Christina as a coach…did you hear how she tried to outsing him in The Prayer? She was awful. She used to have some vocal talent, but it got lost under all that silicone, plastic, and tacky makeup. Put some clothes on PLEASE. Cover that up.

  24. Reminded me of sand rolls in the shallows at the beach. The big exposed sagging boobs stole all the camera time from her candidate. She hogged 75% of the camera time in that duet.

  25. Loved Georgr DeLucca…not a big fan of Xtinaz attitude against him. Boo on Xtina..Grow up.
De lucca has more class in his pinky than she will ever have.

  26. So far I’m thinking Tony is giving the best performances of the evening. Everyone else’s voices seem to be overwhelmed by the loud music or outsung by their coaches. Juliet reminds me of Ashley Simpson – pre nose-job. She is unique though. Freebird was a little wierd for me. Girly.

  27. Wait Tony lucca…not George delucca…what show am i watching? …lol
    Regardless..that blonde chick judge is a B…

  28. So true. Her boobs remind me of Leah Thompson’s fake rack in the second Back To the Future movie. Yuk.

  29. i am amazed by Chris manns voice . The show is supposed to be about the voice by the way . I don’t agree with his coach either but it would not stop me from voting for him . I have liked him from the start but i will admit i am very impressed with Julliette as well and i think she deserves to win it all . I am hard core country but she has something that stops the show every week .

  30.  And what was with that outfit……….  you could see her ripples in the back and her boobs ready to pop out and the makeup and she had the nerve to say anything about a song…… what the hell was she wearing ???

  31.  i believe she thinks she is better than he as she was a commercial hit and he wasn’t………..  nasty ……

  32. Yes, time for a house cleaning at the judges table. Simon did it on X Factor and Xtina must go. Absolutely no class and way past her prime. Juliet is the real deal. It seems she gets to close mast of the shows and she blows it out of the park every time. Fabulous!

  33.  I thought I was the Only one!  I have Lost Respect for her- or what little I did have

  34. This show jumped the shark with all their rules changes, obvious elimination of popular singers, and Christina’s total lack of class.  This is the last season I will watch.
